This is a small, but very nice place and busy. The host was very helpful getting us seated quickly and with questions about the area. The food was good. We had the cornbread appetizer and a French Dip, which had a small dose of horseradish. That was a surprise, but good. We tried their Cosmo, which at most places is... More

Stayed overnight in Memories of the Heart room at Mile High Inn. Warm, inviting Victorian style B&B private bath with this room and very comfortable bed. The view of Main street and the mountains is spectacular. Jerome is an inviting town and the locals are wonderful group to chat with. Breakfast comes with the stay (try the homade sausage) and... We stayed in Memories of the Heart because it has it's own bathroom and it also overlooks the Valley. In Jerome, there is street noise but usually not a peep after 9pm. We even slept with the window cracked open. Upon checkout, we got to peek into the other rooms as they were being cleaned and didn't see one of... More

Recent visit to Jerome included an overnight stay in the Mile High Inn. Our group occupied three rooms - Spooks, Ghosts & Goblins; Little Daisy; and Victorian Rose. We stayed in the Victorian Rose. Both it and the Little Daisy face the street and enjoy a view of the mountains. The only disadvantage of the view is the accompanying street... More

Overall, I give this inn 3.5 stars. We stayed in dance romance and our room was very small. Very cutely decorated though, and the bed was very comfy. The walls are thin enough to hear the entire hotel which made it very hard to get intimate, even though no one else had a problem! We came here to get away... More

This was a great place to stay, I was so impressed with not only the accommodating staff but the restaurant was really really good! We stayed in the Victorian Rose room and loved it. Very cozy, no TV but I don't go out of town to watch TV anyway. The free wi fi worked like a charm, great view of... More

The Cafe at the Mile High Inn has one of the best breakfasts in Northern Arizona. Everything is made from scratch! The various Eggs Benedict selections - including a vegetarian alternative - are outstanding. Service is always great! We have eaten there at least a dozen times and have never been disappointed.

The Mile High Inn was comfortable, cozy and inviting. We booked the Victorian Rose suite which had its own private bathroom. The view was phenomenal as it overlooked the Verde Valley. Being that the Mile High Inn is in a historic building, the walls were kind of thin and you could hear other guests returning from a night out, but... More

Literally a last minute booking got us this charming place to stay overnight for an extra day in the town of Jerome. Went to Jerome on a whim not expecting much, it turned out to be such an inviting city. The pleasure of meeting locals, drinking great wine, and enjoying leisurely strolls along the streets overlooking the valley was all... More

We've been to Jerome before and enjoyed another visit . The town, while having the usual gift and trinket tourist traps, has many art and craft attractions and unusual gift shops. The Mile High is exactly as advertised. A quiet no frills getaway. No TV, no telephone, and no worry about the time of day.. A refreshing throwback to another... More
