After several days on the road, from SoCal to the Grand Canyon, through Sedona and on to Jerome, we finally reached the Connor, my favorite hotel on our trip. This place was just super. The exterior appeared original from the late 1800's, I believe, however, the interior appeared to have had a complete makeover. I went to their website several... More

We visited Jerome more than 25 years ago and were thrilled to find a room available last week. The room names were replaced with numbers, but the Victorian room ambiance remained the same. The rooms now have a flat screen tv, but the furnishings were classy old world. Bathroom was huge and we were even given fresh roses to put... More

This place feel authentic without really trying. Its in a great spot, bar is nice, staff is great. We we traveling by motorcycle and met a bunch of fellow riders. Great tunes in the bar and a nice sound system. The town is awesome as well. Our room was beautiful except - NO WINDOW!! That's right our room had not... More

This place has the perfect blend of historic charm with modern amenities. Some historic hotels can feel tired or worn out, but our room at the Connor was neither of those things. It had tall ceilings, an iron bed, newly white tiled bathroom and tub with L'Occitaine toiletries, and an amazing view of the Verde Valley below. We got a... More

This 19th century bar/hotel in historic Jerome AZ is the real thing. The owners have made a strong attempt to have the rooms and public spaces be representative of the 1890's. Service in the bar was excellent. The rooms are a little small by today's standards, but still a lot of fun. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Connor Hotel while on vacation in 2014. The location is central to most things you'd want to do in Jerome and the Spirit Room below was a blast to hang out in. We were lucky to catch a really great blues band while we were in town. I've heard the music and bar can be loud... More

When I arrived in Jerome after a harrowing 2 hour journey through a heavy snowstorm, the entire town was shrouded in mists and it was below freezing. Finding parking was initially difficult due to one-way streets and healthy crowds, but we found a spot up by Grapes. The hotel is RIGHT at the split of the one-way streets, so either... More

Although the room we stayed in was a little smaller than we thought, it was cozy and clean. The daytime staff when we first checked in were not as helpful as the night staff and following morning staff. The night staff were very helpful and nice and made the stay enjoyable. The room although small was quite, had great amenities,... More

We always favor local business when we can and historic hotels when they're modernized and comfortable, as the Connor is. We spent 3 nights in mid-week February in Room #2 -- above the Spirit Room bar -- and didn't mind the music that travels through the old floorboards. In fact, we chose to patronize the bar on Open Mic night... More

Sometimes a place can lose some of it's charm when undergoing a renovation, but not the Connor. We stayed in room #6, with a choice of two comfortable beds, super soft linens, towels, complimentary bottled water, coffee maker, real cream, chocolates, popcorn, built-in hair dryer, ironing board, good size flat screen TV on the wall. We felt completely spoiled! Yes,... More
