We stayed here because lodging at the Grand Canyon North Rim was booked. Upon arrival the woman who checked us in was very rude and not helpful or friendly at all. The room was rugged style and dirty. We paid $112.00 a night for a $40.00 a room. The food at the restaurant was ok but not worth the price... More

Had lunch here, chicken sandwich, turkey burger, kids burger. Typical good American fare. Nice dining room in rustic log cabin. Friendly staff, good value. Better than north rim dining room! But 20 miles from it.

We stayed here in late August. Coming from phoenix at 100 degrees the 70 degree temperature was more than welcoming. The log cabin is what is says it is, not a 5* hotel... but surely you are coming here for the isolation, views, nature and peace. The staff were lovely and were happy to chat endlessly if you made an... More

Family stayed here during a visit to the north rim of the grand canyon. The location was incredible. Twenty minutes to the North Rim Lodge. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Skip the lodge restaurant waste of time and money. Lodge staff was less than friendly. However, the room was quiet and clean. Would stay here again just for... More

Stayed here for a night in late summer, in one of the four-plex cabins. Room was basic but cozy, with a coffee-maker and working heater. I came with guarded expectations, having come across a few negative reviews of the place. However both my husband and I had a very comfortable stay. It is admittedly pricey considering the small room, but... More

I cannot understand the negative reviews. It is quite clear on their website that this is rustic and rural. We 6 stayed in Sam's cabin. Perfect temperature without a.c. Beds comfortable, although bunks a little wobbly. Bathroom clean. Staff friendly especially server when we ate there the first night. Food basic but good and fresh (we had burgers and chicken).... This lodge had a beautiful location close to the Grand Canyon. They had surprisingly very comfortable beds and the bathroom was very clean. Although, the service and ladies at the front desk were incredibly rude. They had no internet connection, which they promised they would have and the breakfast was not nice at all. My daughter ended up with partially... More

This was my first visit, I have stayed at a lot of lodges and this one is Rustic like a few of the people that work there. The dinning was good, had a bar with several beers and wines. TV was clear but their wi-Fi was down and has been down for a while with no time of getting fixed.... More

Stayed in Cabin 1, rooms 3 & 4. Rustic is definitely correct, and wish the coordinator of our trip had checked TripAdvisor first! Beds are incredibly uncomfortable, pillows must be the lowest quality that can be purchased anywhere, and towels were probably retired from a Motel 6 a year ago. People walking out of the restaurant on the night of... More
