Kaibab Lodge is about fifteen minutes from the entrance to the north rim of the grand canyon national park. It consist of a main building which sells local tourist stuff and has a restaurant. The breakfast and dinner I had there was good and the prices not too obscene. The lodging consist of several cabins, the one I stayed in... More

Duplex/ old Cabin. Very small.Bed iffy. Ok on the cleaning. Dirt road out front probably makes it difficult to keep clean Thin walls. Reminded me of a hunting cabin way out in the Ozarks some friends of mine built in 3 weekends. It worked. Would I stay again, maybe. Had to kill 2 spiders when we first got there. I... More

We knew that we were getting a "cabin" and upon arrival our cabin was exactly what the photo on line showed. The bed was clean, but the bedspread was very old. The shower had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water which was important after a long day of hiking. Unfortunately the cabin was not something that you would... More

The room was clean and well maintained. The scenery was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It is a place of peace and quiet. I'm looking forward to going back. Only 20 minutes from the North Rim and a lot less people.

Very basic room, sufficient for a night. But could it at least have a hair dryer? Nope! And I wish they would take down their unfriendly, bossy signs outside the restaurant. Do we really need to be alerted that you don't want ornery customers or noisy children? No one does, and those that qualify will not be deterred by your... More

Come in with low expectations and you won’t be disappointed. We had an old cabin (I understand the newer ones might be better). Our cabin was marginally a step up from sleeping on the dirt under the stars (or in the car). Good: hot water, bed, towels, coffee maker, windows, fabulous view of the meadow and of the stars. The... We booked our reservations in January for a trip to Zion, Bryce, and the North Rim Grand Canyon. That was too late. At both Bryce and the North Rim we had to stay outside the park for part of our visit. The Kaibab Lodge was the closest to the North Rim park entrance and we stayed the first and last... More

On previous visits to the North Rim we've stayed in the Grand Canyon Lodge economy (I forget the name) cabins. After rain leaked through the roof onto our mouse-eaten cracker box last time, and after seeing the prices have been increasing steadily, we decided to move outside the park to Kaibab Lodge. The rates were better and the drive back... More

We stayed in a Sunrise/Aspen Grove Cabin. The cabin had a decent amount of room and was clean. It snowed while we were there so it was cold. The heat worked great. The shower however was another matter. Our first day the shower would not drain and the water went back and fourth between vaguely warm and cold. We reported... More

Stayed here Labor Day weekend, and loved the atmosphere...I was in one of the 4plex cabins...I had a double bed, coffee maker, a clean private bathroom with a shower. It is located about 18 miles from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. There is nothing fancy about it , the price is about half of what it is at... More
