The Jacob Lake Inn was a nice place near the North Rim. The prices are high - it's the only place in the area. We paid about $125 for a cabin shared by two couples. The hotel room with two Q beds was more than $150. The cabin was quite nice. The bed was comfortable and it was easy enough... More

Stayed in 2 'hotel' rooms. Beds very comfortable. Great southwestern decor. Small building, well -built, little noise carried through walls. Heaters pretty noisy, can't leave on and still sleep. We unplugged it, brother in next room was cold, tried to sleep through it. Great location, the hotel/cabins grounds; lots of trees, well-maintained area. Somehow the restaurant isn't listed in T.A.... More

Jacob Lake Inn totally exceeded our expectations! It has been owned by the same family for 92 years, and their pride shows. Our room was very clean and spacious located in the back area of the property so it was very quiet. There is a nice trail to Jacob Lake which is about 1 1/4 miles each way making for... More

We were on our way from Williams through Flagstaff on our way to Page however due to weather (snow) plans had to be changed . We were on a closed highway with 45 slide off and the most snow in decades. We came across this inn. The staff showed us great hospitality. The wifi and tv were down did not... More

This motel is close to the north rim of the grand canyon. This hotel is in desperate need of a major refurbishment. The hallways looked like one you would find at a school, not a hotel, the rooms were ancient with a TV I hadn't seen since 2000. The beds were uncomfortable, and the balcony had cheap plastic lawn chairs,... More

This establishment is a welcoming sight in a whole stretch of moonscape scenery. It is at about 7900ft after a climb. I visited March and there were still ice patches on the ground. In warmer months (mid May onwards) the road leading to north rim opens. The rooms are more comfortable than expected. The photos dont do them justice. Pleasantly... More

We stayed here two nights in August, 2014 on our trip to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The beds were comfortable and the facilities, while basic, worked fine. The cabins are nestled among huge pine trees and the atmosphere is peaceful and inspiring. The restaurant was wonderful; we ate several meals there and were never disappointed. The service... More

If you are traveling to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and can't get any lodging inside the Park, then this is the only place for you. This rustic old lodge/hotel/restaurant is literally on the only road that takes you in and out of the North Rim. There are also cabins and a playground area for kids. We got... More

We visited the Jacob Lake in the last week of September. We stayed three nights. The hotel was fine. It is a bit rustic and basic but it was clean and quiet. We had a room in one of the buildings near the back. Our first experience at the counter was bad and we almost didn't go back. There was... More

Thank you for your review. I apologize for the experience you had at the counter. I assure you, our staff is trained to wipe down the counter and the tables before any guest is seated. We are certainly inspected regularly and have never had lower than an A grade. This was a failure by an individual. Knowing that she had... More
