I was cautious about this site because the pictures looked dated. I was afraid I would be disappointed but I certainly wasn't. The rooms are basic, not necessarily new, but clean, comfortable and nicely priced for a cabin at about $100+tax even during prime season (July). My cabin had 2 rooms with a bathroom between the two bedrooms. Very comfortable,... More

We stayed at this mountain hotel before going on to the Grand Canyon North Rim. We stayed in the two story building set in the middle of the property and had a small patio to enjoy, all in the woods. The bed was comfortqble and the room was clean yet basic. We watched the sunset through the tall pines and... More

We had a great meal at the Jacob Lake Inn but our two night stay was at best only average. WIFI never worked, elevator was accessible only from the second floor, and the drink machine did not work. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Service was friendly except for one person. (I understand that WIFI can be tricky out in the... More

I try very hard not to leave negative reviews unless absolutely deserved. I've worked in tourism/hospitality my entire life and can appreciate what these people do so I'm going to try to be as positive as possible. Was the place awful? Not at all. Did I wish I hadn't stayed there? Yes. As advertised, it's old. It's got a certain... More

Located on Forest Service land at the corner of highways 89A and 67 (North entrance to the Grand Canyon), Jacob Lake Inn offers an assortment of accommodations from hotel rooms to single cabins. We opted to go the cabin route. #28 had an unobstructed view of the forest & just a little noise from the nearby highway. The cabin was... More

We stayed in a cabin for one night after a day at the Grand Canyon North Rim and really enjoyed it. It's not what you'd call luxurious as the cabins are rather basic, but it was very comfortable, quiet and cheap compared to the Grand Canyon Lodge, which was fully booked anyway. The drive to the North Rim is only... More

Thank you for your review. Our cabins are basic, clean and comfortable, and reasonably priced given that we are located in a very remote place and our closest source of supply is Las Vegas. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you will return. More

we stayed here because Grand Canyon Lodge at north rim was all booked. we got a 20% discount for this summer. It's an hour from the north rim. we stayed in the cabin accomodations. There were two queen beds with sink in the big room. A small room had shower and toilet together, tiny space. but we only needed a... More

We stayed here as a base to see the North rim of the Grand Canyon. Our cabin was lovely and clean and set in the forest. We woke up to birds singing. It is exactly what it says on the tin - cabins in the forest in the middle of nowhere. Despite saying there was WIFI we could not connect,... More

You are right, we are in a lovely, peaceful location and we are glad you could enjoy it here at Jacob Lake Inn. We are glad you enjoyed the cabin and food. Sorry about the WiFi, it is a problem we suffer from along with our guests. We are constantly trying to get access to better (or any) service, and... More

Don't expect luxury rooms here, these are very simple cabins with small bedrooms and tiny bathrooms. Not very clean, unfortunately. No wifi and not even a mobile phone connection with AT&T. Ok for a short stay (1 night) on your way to or from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. On the positive side, The restaurant is a good... More

Absolutely beautiful place. I stayed at the hotel (the two-story building in the back). Clean and comfortable room, super friendly staff, impressive gift shop, gas station right next door - fuel up before you head home 'coz the next one is far away (don't remeber exactly where but think it was back at 89/64 junction). Take time to enjoy the... More
