It's kind of like a big rock covered parking lot, right off I-40. It's not too far from the petrified forest and the painted desert. It's very near the Route 66 part of holbrook with old buildings, the teepee motel with old cars parked all around it like the cars movie..lots of vintage things to see there..also went to Winslow... I loved this park. The attendant was so friendly and helpful. We stayed at another koa the night before and the staff was not nearly as friendly. In fact they were pretty rude. Not the case here. Would recommend this location to anyone. They also had an all you can eat pancake breakfast for only a few dollars. The kids... More

Yep, we had the convenience of one electrical outlet for the four of us traveling by motorcycle from Dallas to Utah's National Parks. We also figured out how to charge from our motorcycle batteries. Hot and dusty, but we're in the desert! The one thing that stood out for this KOA was the pancakes made to order for breakfast. Extremely... More

We had an overnight stay in a full hook up site at this campground this week. Sites were level on gravel. No issues with sites other than the picnic tables appear to be falling down. Nice Kamp K9 with grass for pups. Bathrooms nice and clean. Did not try the internet but owner told me it had been recently upgraded.... More

I was supposed to stay off the freeway at the OK RV Park (Good Sam recommended? Really?) which was gross, and I saw a KOA sign off down the road. GREAT CHOICE! Clean, nice, super friendly owner, and further from the street.

I actually stayed here twice - first time was on my way to Durango, CO. I reserved a tent space. I am a female and was traveling alone on my motorcycle. I felt very safe at this KOA and the facilities are very clean. I was even able to charge my phone with the electric outlets that run down the... More

We stayed in the Holbrook KOA as part of our Route 66 trip across America in April/May. We stayed in many campsites on our trip and I have to say that this one is the one that will stick in my memory the most and all for good reasons. We only got to stay one night but I would've liked... More

The attendant was extremely helpful after a long day of driving and even pointed out the 20% off coupon for the nearby Denny's that they have on their campground map. The place was clean and well-groomed, even for a desert location. They have an outdoor "chuckwagon" grill so you can eat dinner and breakfast without even leaving the campground. The... More

I'm almost never stay in RV parks, but I am traveling with my parents in their RV for a quick trip with my kids. I thought this KOA park was great. Clean showers, restrooms, fun little play area for the kids - complete with an "old school" merry go round they loved. Too windy for swimming but the pool looked... More

Overall we enjoyed this campground. It is a typical southwest RV park, which basically means a lot of gravel. We rented a super tent site and I think it spoiled me, because the idea of camping without electricity seems like a hardship after this experience. The super tent site was surrounded by a fence on three sides, plus tress so... More
