Pleasantly unique B&B near Petrified Forest National Park. Owners were very friendly and accommodating. Linda collects art and has quite a few nice pieces of Native American, Southwestern and other artists. She also caters and is a very good cook. Our room was clean and well decorated. Owners are educated and well informed about the area and the people in... More

From the moment we walked up to the door and were welcomed by Linda, the owner,we were mesmerized by the whole place. It seems Art Deco in everything from the outside to our washroom. Linda is a marvelous hostess who cooks beautifully and is a wonderful and witty talker. Her collection of Native artifacts is museum class and she told us the... More

What a great surprise to find such a jewel in Holbrook of all places! The facilities and grounds are beautiful, and the hostess was so lovely. The room was comfortable and quiet- and I had a room on the freeway. The bathroom was straight out of '30s French Connection or Art Deco. I cannot say enough about how much I... More

This is a lovely B&B that is up on a hill overlooking the town and highway. Inside the courtyard you are in another world that is green and peaceful. I'll admit we wish we had less time with our hostess she was kind and offered us wine but we wanted a bit more "alone time" after being on the road... More

We stayed here for a night after visiting the Petrified Forest and Painted Desert nearby. The lady who owns the house is a charming Texan who has her own restaurant also and makes Texas style breakfasts. She's also very funny. The house was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

We come to Holbrook every year for a family reunion and we always stay at the Heward House. It's easily the best place in town! It's so relaxing and there is plenty of room for the entire extended family. I love to sit out in the courtyard with the fountain running, a glass of wine and a good book. Linda... More

As soon as we stepped into Linda and Randy's living room, I fell in love with this cosy and quirky B&B. Upon arriving, they gave us the warmest welcome, complete with beer, sangria and homemade cookies and gave us great recommendations on where to eat and directions to the forest etc. Thankfully they also directed us to downtown Holbrook, a... We stayed here because it is one of the closest B&Bs to the Painted Desert/Petrified Forest, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Linda and Randy are so much fun, and really took care of us -- wine in the evening, great and varied breakfasts in the morning. The room was comfortable, and the B&B good value. We hope we will... This grounds of this place were just breathtaking and the accommodations very comfy. The hostess served wine in the evening and a tasty breakfast in the morning as well as providing a snack for us as we headed out to explore each day. Our plan was to visit the Petrified Forest & Painted Desert, but we had the misfortune to... More
