My wife and I stayed at the Globetrotter Lodge after reading bad reviews about the Tee Pees across the street. Trains pass through Holbrook all day and night. As a light sleeper, I was worried. I didn't hear any outside noise all night! I had my doubts, but discovered that we had made the right decision. The rooms were more... More

We stayed in the "two room" room. It had 2 full size beds in 1 room and a full size bed in the other. It was quite charming, very clean and the temperature of the room was quite comfortable as were the beds. The sink was beautiful, unique and was located between the two rooms along with a coffee pot.... More

Loved this motel, takes you back to the 60s, old style with good upgrades, can't complain, great beds, and quick service, motel had its own little charm to itself, quiet area too. Owners seemed very nice. If passing by this is the place for us

Room was clean and overall quite pleasant, although the linen was rather dated. But the owner is slowly renovating the rooms and provided a very nice breakfast with linen tablecloth and a full table setting. Host Peter was very pleasant.

We picked this hotel because of the TA reviews while we were looking for a stopping point as we headed East towards Durango. In retrospect, I should have continued to Gallup for our stop that night. The hotel has a unique vintage charm that attracted our adventurous side because we knew it would not be the cookie cutter Marriott /... More

Had a delightful stay at the Globetrotter on the evening of Dec. 4, 2014. I traveled Rte 66 in the late '50's and am still excited by "refurbished" diners, motels, etc. Everything was well appointed and breakfast with other visitors and host Peter was delightful. Highly recommended.

We were advised to bypass Holbrook and stay instead at Sedona. At first we though that we had passed up some good advice, but we found our room at the Globetrotter to be clean and well tended, and besides, we were staying on the famous Route 66! The area is quiet and we slept well. The hosts looked after us... More

This hotel is a combination of Fifties Route 66 flair and some unexpected niceties, such as linen placemats with a European continental breakfast. The rooms have been updated and are furnished with good amenities. The rooms are immaculate.

My family of four stayed at the Globetrotter in July of 2014. We enjoyed our stay very much. The hosts were extremely nice and the breakfast every morning was top-notch with personalized service. The rooms were clean and harkened back to simpler times even if you consider the ever-present WiFi. The owners were quick to engage in pleasant conversation informing... More
