When we arrived we were offered a friendly greeting. After checking in we were shown to our room. The room was clean and comfortable. I could tell the owners took their time renovating and decorating the hotel. It had little touches like a book case, and lots of pictures on the wall. It even had brochures of locations to visit... We stayed here on a road trip to CO AZ and NM and really enjoyed it. Granted it is old and a bit eclectic but a great value for a nights stay. The bed was great, the bath had a very nice large shower and colorful sink. One confusing thing was the soap and body wash were combined in one... More

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. We had a table and were paired with another couple. The food selection was extensive and high quality. The room was charmingly remodeled but a little small. The real downsides were the frequent loud trains (probably a problem everywhere in Holbrook) and the loud refrigerator.

We stayed at the Globetrotter Lodge on our first night of our “Route 66” trip. We booked based on the positive Trip Advisor reviews and we were not disappointed. The room was clean, the staff polite and the breakfast was good – all this at a very reasonable price. We visited Joe and Aggies Café (about a half minute drive)... More

Globetrotter is a step back in time to a real Route 66 "motel". The rooms are a good size and clean. The furnishings and decorating touches stay close to the idea of the old driving days along the Route. The bathroom is small but they have kept the motel authentic and not made changes that would turn it into just... More

The austrian owners designed the rooms in a charming mix of austrian furniture, native indian art and route 66 memorabilia. The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast better than in other motels. Great place to stay!

We chose this hotel after reading tripadvisor reviews and seeing on a website online that it was a 4 star motel. Yes, the room is clean but the bathroom is tiny and so is the closet. The beds in our room have black and brown spreads and feature a big semitruck and a half naked woman holding a dagger. The... More

I am very sorry that you did not like your stay at our Lodge. But I am a little confused - our bed sheets, linen and pillow cases are 100% Cotton and you have slept on the warm POLYESTER blankett.....So I do not understand this complaint. The fridges make a noise sometimes and I am very sorry about that. But you just have... More

Booked here on the basis of the plaudits so far. Great room (10). Full of character and tastefully decorated. Great hosts, even the noisy Bernese dog. The only motel we booked on our Route 66 and we were not disappointed. Nice touches on the breakfast table, such as flags of the visitors countries. One regret (a common one for us)... More

From the time we spent in Holbrook there is not a great deal going on, but it is on Route 66 and so is Globetrotter Lodge. It is a wonderful little place with easy access from the road. The owners take pride in their business. The place is clean, charming and well worth a stay.

Globetrotter takes you back in time with its Route 66 antiques and vintage cars. Our room was spotless and comfortable with many little homey touches to make you feel at home. Perfect for our stop after visiting Petrified Forest. No trip is complete to Holbrook without a visit to Jim Grey's Petrified Wood store. Never seem anything like it....
