Seeing some of the reviews on here about the Wigwam. Some good and some bad. Well here my review: if your looking for a 5star motel then this isn't it, the motel was built in 1950's and has the old unique style. No fridge, microwave and no phone but its a Wigwam. I'm a picky person when it comes to... More

Rarely do we take photographs of our hotels, but in this case, the ambiance was half the fun. First, mundane things, though. The furniture is old, but the bed is comfortable and the place is very clean. Oh, and it's also one of the more reasonable nights we've spent on the road. Back to the photos, though, we arrived in... I've stayed here twice, while driving cross-country, since it's on Route 66. Second time I only went that route TO STAY at this place, since I had such great memories of it. Basic accommodations inside, but the most fun ones you'll have as an adult-you have your own tepee, as well as your own classic, gorgeous car outside, where you... More

We stayed for the night while travelling Route 66 and had a great time. The motel was great for a novelty nights stay. The shower in our wigwam was very low and only suitable for anyone under 4 foot 10! The AC unit was extremely loud and couldn't be left on at night as would keep you awake. The scenery... More

You have to stay here if you are in the area! It is the most wonderfully retro piece of Americana. The concrete wigwams, are a tad small, but then what would you expect from a wigwam? But then they are so crammed with personality, and real authentic route 66 feel that it more than makes up. If you have any interest... More

If you crave a 'real Route 66' experience, thew you must stay here! You'll need to email and book well in advance, but it is worth it. What was once a chain across America, there are now only 2 wigwam motels (San Bernadino being the other) The concrete wigwams are surprisingly spacious, and sport ac and a tv as well... More

This place is super friendly and a cool stop on a Rt. 66 trip. However, Holbrook itself is a little sketchy after dark, lots of stumbling drunks and inky dark side streets. Grab dinner before you stop for the night, you don't want to be wandering the streets at night. The room was clean and really cute, but the bedding... More

Stayed one night here with my wife whilst on route 66. This really is a must do when in this part of the world. The rooms are just the bare essentials really, but it is so quirky, we both just loved staying here. The rooms are clean, compact and so cute. We also had our own vintage car outside too!... More

Our son's face lit up as we pulled up to the hotel. We hadn't told him we were staying here as a surprise. Disappointing that it is not a canvas wigwam. The room is, well, close and there was only one teeny window so it was stuffy. Everything you need however: good shower, private bathroom. TV-ish. AC/heater funky to say... More

This is strictly place for a walk down memory lane. There's almost no WiFi, the rooms have literally the bare essentials, and it's just what we remember from where we was kids. All and all, priceless.
