The office is only open from 4-9pm which made it incredibly hard to make reservations if you're on the road or report any problems once your in your TP. Once your there there's no one in the office to help with any faulty motel furnishing, plumbing or electronics after 9PM. Our TV was faulty and we had no TV that... More

Nothing fancy but a great place to stay. Right on old Route 66, it was a fun place to stay. Retro atmosphere with old cars parked throughout the complex. Clean and comfortable and a unique experience.

We couldn't get reservations so I can't comment on it as a hotel, but it is a wonderful attraction. Definitely worth going out of your way to see, and Holbrook is a great piece of preserved Route 66. The Wigwam is a collection of concrete teepees built and still used as a motel. Nice neon signs and vintage cars parked... More

A great place to experience a little bit of what made the old American road trips so iconic. Located close to the old Route 66, the Wigwam Motel has basic but comfortable rooms. Each wigwam has a classic old car outside. It is also convenient for visiting the Petrified Forest. If you want all mod cons this is not for... More

This clean and charming route 66 motel is a step back in time. No phone in the room, good! Nearby freight train lulled me to sleep. We would happily stay in this friendly icon of America the next time we are passing through the area.

My daughter found this place online so we penciled in reservations. When we arrived it was like stepping back into a simpler time. The individual "Wigwams" were pretty neat and the parking lot sporting vintage vehicles from the 50's was a really nice touch. My expectations were not high as I thought the gimmick atmosphere would probably be the high... More

What an experience! So cool to stay in a Wigwam. What a cool place! Great! The room was nice and clean and it is just a nice place where you want to be right on Route 66. If you like the good old days - this is it!

I've wanted to stay here ever since I saw it in my travel book and I can finally say I've slept in a wigwam! It was cozy and the beds were comfy. The historic aspect of this place was a plus! Wonderful stay at the cutest place ever.

We were travelling Route 66 and decided to call into Holbrook and try to get into wigwam hotel. They have a sign on the reception windo come back at 3, that is useless to the normal traveller, you want to drop your bags and carry on site seeing, but not with this place. STAY OPEN.

Listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 2002, the vintage Wigwam Motel in Holbrook, Arizona (also known as Wigwam Village #6), on the historic Route 66, has been on my "bucket list" for quite some time. I can now cross it off the list after family members and I stayed here overnight in May 2015. We had... More
