We stopped in Heber on a road trip and stayed at the BW - it's a nice hotel, pretty standard fare, breakfast includes cereal, yogurt, fruit, donuts, make your own waffles, and so on. Very quiet, great staff. There's a paved path you can walk along the highway all the way to the other end of town (and Dairy Queen),... more

We stayed at this motel 7/18/09 - it was one of the overall cleanest and best managed motels we have ever stayed at, and it little Heber, AZ. Kudos to the management/owners for doing such a great job ... we will be back ! more

A one night stay at Sawmill Inn just happened to be on our 38th wedding anniversary...first time to stay at the Inn on our way home from attending to personal business in N.M. Dave the manager was so friendly & as we chatted with him we mentioned our anniversary being that day. He recommended a great place for dinner closeby... more

The best motel we stayed at during our trip to Arizona. From the upbeat greeting to the nice room it was a real pleasure. A well maintained room (not tired or frayed). The bathroom and shower area was immaculate. High speed internet worked flawlessly even handling Skype connection. Our small pet was welcome and the walking area was very convenient... more

We had a group of 10 people on a motorcycle trip, Dave was so great in helping us get a group of rooms at a nice price. We stayed 2 nights. The rooms were very clean. the continental breakfast was a nice touch with a nice variety of good stuff. Dave even made us waffles himself. After the days ride... more

A friend recommended this hotel and Heber. I am building 5 bed room house. I need something to get away from the heat. Heber is the place to be, lots of activities in town in summer. People are very nice. I called the hotel and told them what I am doing. They gave me the best rate. The staff at... more

Heber is nothing more than a loosly strung together collection of stop-offs on I260, so you can't really expect a whole heck of a lot, but the Sawmill was better than expected and certainly not the worst of this class of hotels/motels that I've stayed in. The room we had was on the first floor in the rear. We were... more

This is a great alternative to staying at the much more expensive cabin rentals nearby which are at least three time more expensive. Check in time was advertised as 1500 but we got there at noon and were still able to check in, which was a big help. The continental breakfast consisted of cereal and pastries which was of very... more

We stayed here for a family reunion in town and I was pleasantly suprised. It is a basic hotel with no upgraded amenities but the rooms were clean and the staff was very professional. We had two rooms, a basic one and a larger one with a fridge and a microwave and a sleeper sofa. The kids enjoyed the breakfast... more
