When we arrived at the lodge around 6:30 it was dark and cold outside with snow and ice everywhere. Walking into the lodge was a wonderful experience with all the fire places going strong. The lodge was very warm and inviting. The rooms were very comfortable. The service was exceptional. The food was fantastic and everyone that waited on us... more

..and Red Setter is not "awesome". You came 15" late for breakfast and they wouldn't give you a piece of toast...."awesome"? I don't think so. Under the previous owners (when Red Setter received ALL of its alcolaides) that would NEVER have happened. I understand if you have never been to the Lodge previously you would have no point of reference... more

My husband and I stayed in #14 cabin at the Red Setter Inn and it was a wonderful stay! Looking at the reviews, many are getting the Greer Lodge mixed up with the Red Setter Inn - 2 very different places but now with the same owner. We are luxury adventure travelers so we need 800 thread count when "roughing... more

For the price of the room I would have to give this B&B a poor rating, The class of the original owners is slowly fading. For the price it should have been pristine, it was average. Greer is a beautiful place and it needs beautiful places to stay, the Red Setter is falling short.......... how sad. more

I just returned from a weekend at the Red Setter Inn with my boyfriend for his b-day celebration. We stayed in the Honeymoon cabin #14...just BEAUTIFUL! Just refer to the pix on thier website to see the decor & furnishings...they completely represent the condition. (which is great!) Our cabin had a wonderful view of the creek, and we loved listening... more

My husband and I were disappointed by the Red Setter Inn. We had heard from a friend that this was a first class place for location and food. ( She raved about the bread pudding.) In my opinion, it does not deserve to be one of the Top Ten B & Bs in the world, though it did have some... more

We stayed in cabin 64 and I would NOT recommend it at all!! Although we had a great trip, the cabin was not clean, the shower sprayed everywhere, the shower curtain was cloth not plastic, the caulking was in disrepair and appeared to have mold in spots, there were poor patch jobs done on the paneling in the bathroom, the... more

My wife and I stayed in room 2 of the Red Setter Lodge for two nights (Saturday - Monday). We found the Red Setter to provide a rustic and relaxing atmosphere. The lodge is located on the banks of the Little Colorado River and has a wrap around deck and two "living rooms" with fire places at which guests can... more

While I have never stayed at the Red Setter Inn, two weeks ago, we tried to make reservations there. We wanted a king-size bed or two doubles. We were told that the Inn just had queen beds, but the cottages had two beds. Disaster. For $40 less than the Inn and no breakfast, we were put in a cottage. This... more

We just returned from a trip including two nights in a luxury cabin #16 Turkey Track at the Red Setter Inn. It looks exactly like the pictures on the web except there was a love seat and rocking chair by the fireplace instead of two chairs like on the web. The cabin had a gas fireplace, a full kitchen, and... more
