My husband, my 84 year old Dad, his dog and I had a wonderful time in Greer, AZ, mostly because of the Lazy Trout Big 10 Cabins, run by Ted and Nancy. (Also associated with the Lazy Trout Motel). We rented the "Aspen" cabin and it was a pet friendly cabin, which we really appreciate. They did a beautiful job... More

This was a great location with unbelievable customer service, Ted and his staff truly went out of their way to make you feel at home and accommodate any desires or questions. The rooms were cozy and the location was perfect for hiking, fishing and horse riding. I will most definitely stay at this location again.

This place is perfect if you need just a bed and shower. Luckily they also have a fridge & microwave. Cute patio table & chairs, but all the doors share the same patio, so not as personal as your own cabin.

For the price, you can't beat this gem. Adjacent to the general store, this motel has eight rooms in various configurations, from a queen bed for a couple to a queen/bunk setup for a small family. Rooms 1-4 have been remodeled, and it's definitely worth the $10 upgrade to get a room with plank paneling, laminate flooring, cafe table, modular... More

We came up to Greer for Labor day weekend. Motel was full over the weekend but overall the surrounding scenic areas were not too busy. Room was cozy with full bath, microwave and fridge. Bed was comfortable. Wi-Fi in the room was a good speed. Pleasant to sit outside on the deck and watch the afternoon storms or see the... More

This is a nice, small relaxing motel. We had a great time and are looking forward to visit it in Winter. Friendly and helpful owners and a very nice convenience store. Great hikes, fishing, mountain-biking, etc. just a couple of minutes from the motel.

Nice people, relaxed atmosphere, just perfect for nature appreciation and unwinding. Star gazing, hiking, and just walking around are just some of other things besides fishing, camping, mountain-biking, etc.

We rented one of the Lazy Trout Cabins. We rented their Lazy Bear Cabin & we weren't dissappointed. This place is a gem! The pictures on their website didn't do this cabin justice. It was simply stunning! The couch & love seat in the livingroom are leather & are very, very comfrotable. The dining room table seats six & in... More

The motel rooms and cabins are a great value; probably the best you'll find in Greer. The owners are so friendly, you'll keep coming back just because of them. This is a great place to stay! After staying at many different places in Greer, it's unlikely that we'll ever stay anywhere else again.
