Entering the cabin (#110) for the first time at check in time of 4 p.m. we were very pleased to see a nicely appointed space with Christmas tree already lit giving it a very warm feeling. By the time evening had settled in we began to notice little things here and there, like a nasal breathe right strip still stuck... more

Just got back from our stay at the Greer Lodge, loved it! We first heard about it from watching Robin Sewell on the Arizona Highways program and always wanted to go. We were very surprised to read some of the bad reviews. We had a wonderful stay in Cabin #100, at the very end of the property. We could see... more

I stayed in a dog friendly cabin with a loft. The loft was infested with flies & moths which made it not sleepable. The rug had all stains on it & smelled. Our 2 roll paper towel & toilet tissue allowence was used up very quickly. We had to drive 45 minutes to wallmart to replace it. The fly fishing... more

My husband and I stayed in a Luxury Lodge Room. The room was neat, clean and tiddy. We loved how the restaurant was connected to this historic building housing all these beautiful Luxury Lodge Rooms. My husband and I made sure to stop in at 5PM for our happy hour! LOL. During the day, we stepped out to the trout... more

The Lodge promotes its "luxury cabins" but we were stuck in a filthy, dark cabin with a 4" hole in the bedroom ceiling, a foot-wide gaping hole in the bathroom wall, and exposed wiring patched with electrical tape throughout. They charged $199/night, but told us to get our own fireplace logs "down the road" and suprised us with news that... more

Let's see where to start...mediocre restaurant with pricey menu, slow service, and local entertainment to distract you from the steak that has been over-cooked, a receptionist who is indifferent to your needs, and a room that is appealing visually from the inside but with little hot water and a Bose sounds system that actually did work. The best part was... more

We did some research on Greer Lodge before booking, so we knew exactly what to expect in a dog-friendly cabin. We were looking for the rustic feel, and that's pretty much what we got. The cabin was very quiet at night and the location seemed great with a mountain view set on the edge of the property away from the... more

What you see in the website might not reflect the reality. The "Luxury" term should be replaced by "comfortable" ? I stayed in a room situated in the main building, I noticed everybody's voice or steps around me...Dinner at the Lodge's Restaurant needs to be avoided. The whole place lacks of atmosphere. The office did not have any brochures regarding... more

We came up for the weekend with our dogs and when we saw the cabin we were to have it had a broken down couch, that sank in the middle, dirty indoor/outdoor carpet, a space heater, rusted out out tub, a picnic table for the kitchen, with a dirty old oilcloth table cloth. The area the space heater was in was... more
