Maybe something is lost at times these days when traveling; not every hotel needs to be plush to be a good night's stay. The Anasazi Inn is certainly a well worn accommodation but I found it to be a clean comfortable oasis on my way to the Grand Canyon. Gray Mountain Arizona is only a gas station, the Anasazi Inn,... We stopped for gas in this tiny town, and had to ask if the motel next door was open. We were surprised to hear that we could register for a room, and took the offered key to examine the room before agreeing to stay. The room looked recently renovated, and while bare by some standards, it offered us a sparkling... More

I rated it 5 stars so I can get your attention! IT ONLY DESERVES 1 OR 0 STARS!! Use it only if you don't want to sleep in your car. Because it's location this motel has a lot of POTENTIAL. It only needs to be ripped down and rebuilt with a new modern look and attitude. When we picked this place... More

We ended up here since it was the only "hotel" available in the area. Our first impression of the room wasn't very bad although I must say that we also didn't expect very much. The not too bad impression went to really bad after we found out that the shower wasn't working. There was only very little cold water and... More

This hotel will keep the rain off your head but that is about all that I can say about it. There are far better hotels close by (Cameron Trading Post) and far, far better and safer places to eat. DO NOT eat at the restaurant across the street. The food was terrible and made three of the five people in... More

TERRIBLE HOTEL! We found the Anasazi inn in a search for a place to sleep close to the Grand Canyon. We needed to be early in the Grand Canyon Airport the next day and we were driving from Zion. The only positive thing is that is located 1h from the south Rim. Other than that, filthy rooms (dark, dirty and... More

I have stayed here five times since there was is no other place to stay and I had to be in this specific location. You may think you have a reservation but you cannot be sure unless you actually get a room. The entire place is pretty run down with rooms that are kind of/sort of clean. The price quoted... More

We were on a road trip, did not book a room at any of the hotels/motels near Grand Canyon, so were left with no choice but to pay the overpriced rate for an ugly, dusty room with dirty linens, noisy a/c, and fetid pool.

The Anasazi is in the middle of nowhere, so if it comes down to sleeping in your car, you'll have to flip a coin. Our room was very basic and the tv worked. The condition of the carpet in the room was another story. My wife wouldn't take her flip flops off until she got into bed. She said that... More

This is an average hotel and good value. The restaurant and trading post across the main road, is excellent. They have great food, friendly service, and the shop has some really well priced and different items for sale.
