Our room was one of the large newer (1927) classrooms, complete with blackboard. 800 square feet with huge windows looking out over Globe. Quiet as could be, save for the real hardwood floors that announced their 88 years of grade schoolers racing about with some modest sqeaks and groans. Long claw foot tub was a big hit with us -... It is an old schoolhouse. The décor is great, Super interesting. I was impressed by how much detail... More

The Noftsger Hill Inn in Globe used to be a grade school. All of the guest rooms are converted classrooms. Each room is beautifully appointed with sitting areas and fire places. We also had a blackboard that took up one whole wall in our room and we enjoyed reading all of the comments from past guests. The breakfast served by... More

What a great job the owners have done in turning this into a B&B! So much to look at, great rooms, and a step back into an early 20th century grade school. We stayed in a former kindergarten room and the cloakroom was converted into our bathroom. The furnishing were perfect for the space and rooms are large and comfortable.... More

What a spectacular spot!! The classrooms of this converted school have been turned into huge guestrooms. They are beautifully appointed with sitting areas and so many wonderful extras. There was nothing we needed. Our hosts were incredibly warm and accomodating and the breakfast was outstanding! Thank-you Rosalie! Head up to Globe for a visit to the Noftsger Hill Inn -... More

Beautifully restored. Homey, yet with a special feel. Great breakfast and warm helpful hosts. Worth a stay if you're passing anywhere nearby. Your area restaurant options are limited, so pseudo-camping around a big round table in your huge room while sharing wine and nosh is a good call.

We stayed in a school room that was so fun. There were two beds, a couch, a table, tv, dressing table, gorgeous antiques, loads of quilts, books galore and a claw foot tub for bubble baths in the old coat closet. We are going to go back just to look at all the things in the common areas of the... More

The Inn sponsored a Birding weekend - birding by sound. We were only there for one night, but the place is fantasist. You stay in a converted school house where each classroom (huge!) has been converted to a mini-suite with in-suite bath. The decor is one that will keep you browsing all your free time. For the evening class Rosalie... More
