This is a special place for anyone that wants to relax and get away from it all. Outstanding bed as well as a special breakfast prepared for any dietary needs you might have. There is an animal sanctuary adjoining the property which is worth investigating. The manager/owner does not live on this site so be sure to arrive as scheduled... More

If you are coming from Sonoita you have a 15 mile drive to the B&B. Driving it after dark is lovely. You will see an occasional light in the distance and possibly a car, otherwise you are by yourselves and the stars. Be sure you are on the right road. Look for the mile markers. If you don't see any... More

Upon recommendation from a neighbor, my husband & I had the opportunity to stay at Whisper's Ranch Bed & Breakfast & Animal Sanctuary for 2 nights last week. Toni the owner pleasantly greeted us when we arrived. We had a few questions about wineries & sights to see in the area & felt Toni was a big help with her... More

We stayed at Whisper's Ranch from Sunday 8/18/2013 to checkout Tuesday 8/20/2013. The first thing that we noticed upon arrival was that the owner, which we understand now, provided VERY minimal introduction to the property. She pointed out very basic stuff about the property and left abruptly after about ten minutes. We do not even still know her name, as... More

We make every effort to accommodate guest's needs. These folks requested a fire in the fireplace during the heat of summer, and breakfast at check-out time. They were offered the option of yogurt, boiled eggs, muffins, juice and coffee left for them continental style, but they refused. Not sure what was unusual about scrambled eggs and french toast for breakfast,... More

I am reviewing the owner and not the property and our group of 4 people never found this place. I had booked my reservation over the phone 2 weeks prior to arrival. When I asked what checkin time is, I was told between 6-8PM. I have never stayed anywhere, hotel or B and B that had that late a checkin.... More

We are deeply disappointed this consumer has chosen to attack the business owner and make an effort to defame our wonderful reputation. The "review" is not at all representative of the facts of what actually occurred. Guests are provided with policies, including no-show/cancellation policies and driving directions, at the time of their reservation. In fact, guests have to agree to... More

Whisper's Ranch is somewhat remote in relation to the wineries and restaurants in town but who cares! It was so peaceful and some homey it didn't matter. We had a seriously good night's sleep in the upstairs king bed. There are several trails (including the Arizona Trail) nearby and of course the fabulous wineries are about 15 miles away. Breakfast... This B&B ranks in the top overall B&B. We wanted to spend a special Xmas away but not too far. We were not disappointed. The bed in the upstairs bedroom is more comfortable than mine which made for a very restful sleep. A fire was set in the fireplace by the keeper, a nice extra not expected. Breakfast was prepared... We stayed at Whisper's Ranch for 3 nights. It was a bit farther from the Sonoita wineries than we expected. We didn't mind the drive though. It was secluded and totally relaxing. We were fortunate enough to be the only customers the weeknights we were there, so we got to visit every morning with Toni. This was a real treat!... More

Whisper's Ranch is a beautiful place. The landscape, the house, the animals in the sanctuary near by and most of all Toni, (the owner) all worked together in making our visit to this B&B an amazing experience we won't soon forget. I could go on forever with all of the wonderful things that I have to say about this place,... More

Stayed on the upper level - big room, friendly staff, good breakfast and close to the wineries. Don't forget to go next door into Patagonia for amazing pizza at the Velvet Elvis. Fabulous food at the grassland's cafe - lunch and dinner only. Run by an older couple - europian fresh food. And the stars at night......breathtaking!
