Unless you're visiting someone at the prison in Blythe or you have a hankering for dinner at Sizzler, there's no reason to stay on the California side of the state line. The BW Desert Oasis is a very clean, well-maintained property just fine for a stopover and only about four miles from Blythe. Skip the continental breakfast and walk over... more

Have stayed here a couple of times before, maybe 4-5 years ago, when it was called the Best Western Flying J. Things haven't changed much. Room was a decent size and had a fridge/microwave. Bathroom sink was outside of the toilet/shower area--I like that. Beds were comfy, but the pillows were tiny. Room seemed in fairly good shape and everything... more

I was tired of driving all the way to LA, and stopped at the Best Western over night. Rooms are clean,, stuff friendly, and weather perfect. I would recommend this place with all my heart. more

Stayed here for a week during the Quartzsite "show" time of year. This hotel is very old, has many maintenance issues and has major problems with housekeeping. Had to ask for several room supplies that were not re-stocked every day and one housekeeper stole a gold necklace from my room. When I confronted the manager, I was told it was... more
