We travel from northern NM to Tucson each year for the Tour de Tucson and I was looking for variety this year in terms of a place to stay at along the way. This is a jog up from I-10, but a pleasant diversion that did not add much to the trip. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly, our room... More

We are cycling through the area and had a wonderful rest and stay at the Simpson Hotel. The beds were comfortable, the proprietor very welcoming, warm and accommodating, and the goat in the grounds was charming. We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone and are planning a return trip soon.

We spend two nights in the Old Library Room and it was wonderful. We almost didn't stay there because Google Earth hasn't updated their images since 2006 and shows The Simpson before the renovation. So don't rely on Google's images! This hotel has been lovingly and charmingly restored and includes beautiful original artworks and antiques. Each morning we had a... More

I needed a break from the hustle and bustle of urban Tucson so I took a long weekend in the country at the Simpson Hotel. The Hotel is a beautifully restored, turn of the century gem. The rooms are appointed in such a way that the visitor feels they have gone back in time to a more graceful period where... More

We stopped overnight in Duncan on our way home from the Hummingbird Festival at Little Toad Creek Inn near Silver City, NM. The Simpson Hotel was wonderful, with great character, a personable proprietor, and delicious breakfast with good strong coffee! We hope to return soon!

The last weekend of April, my husband and I stayed at the Simpson Hotel Bed and Breakfast. I had to be in Duncan Arizona for a golf tournament that weekend. I have been traveling to this area for many years and did not know the Simpson Hotel Bed Breakfast existed, what a pleasant surprise! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and... More

The Simpson is a mandatory stop if you are visiting southeastern Arizona and southwestern New Mexico. This 1914 architectural gem has been lovingly restored to its former glory and more, including many updates such as a native plant garden and a serious water harvesting operation. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and decorated with considerable flair and originality. The breakfasts... More

This is a charming B&B that has an equally charming owner. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful accommodations, and the delicious breakfast. It is definitely worth the trip to Duncan, AZ to experience this little slice of heaven.
