Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in early May 2008 and we also booking directly by phone. As we were travelling with 2 preschool children we booked the family suite that had 2 bedrooms but 1 front door. The hotel is in a great location for visiting Sedona, Jerome and the Wilderness Train. The breakfast was the usual juice,... more

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in early May 2008, booking directly by phone from the previous hotel on our itinerary. We were a little apprehensive at first, as this appeared to be in quite a busy location, but we needn't have worried. The hotel is in a great location for visiting Sedona, Jerome and the Wilderness Train. We... more

Thank you for taking the time to let others know of our hotel. As the hub location to the Sedona-Verde Valley, makes our Hotel a convent place to stay. I hope you will visit us again soon.

This motel is well-positioned in Cottonwood, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance, a superb food supermarket (Fry's) opposite and also close to a Walmart. Our 2 Queen bed room faced the adjoining garage and unfortunately, we were kept awake by partying guests in the rooms below until 3am on 2 nights.( This might frighten older guests) Reception said that... more

We appreciate your candid remarks and wanted to let you know we are working on improving our rooms. New lighting, bathrooms, etc, etc, are in the works and are scheduled to be completed by end of the year! I'm sorry to hear about the noise while you were here. The 3d weekend of October each year is "Spook" weekend--the biggest...

Many thanks to Candy and the staff at the Cottonwood Inn for making our stay so great. We had a perfect room, the Blazing Ranch Show and dinner were just great, the Train was a lovely relaxing time and the Out of Africa Zoo was very very special. The breakfasts were more than adequate and we enjoyed the Irish Pub... more

We arrived tired, early evening and asked for a room with a mountain view which we instantly got (first floor). The staff were very polite, helpful - the young guy showed me the room straight away. It's a relaxing and peaceful location. Great views of those unique Arizona mountains. It was great to watch the changing colours as afternoon turned... more

My wife and I and our 2 children stayed here on March 10th for 1 nt. because The Jerome Grand was sold out (we stayed there on the 11th). This Best Western has no ventilation in the bathroom and after showering, it's just like a sauna. I felt like I was in FL! The pool and spa are very basic,... more

As the only AAA-rated 3-Diamond Hotel in Cottonwood, we are very proud to meet the standards & qualifications required to receive this distinquished rating. One standard stipulation is to have exhaust fans in all restrooms. If a malfunction occurred, once reported the 24-hour front desk, the agent will ensure prompt action is taken to correct the problem. The Best Start...

We were in this part of Arizona to ride the Verde Canyon RR (excellent) and do some other things in the area. Picked the Best Western to stay at. Rooms were clean, spacious and the curtains kept the bright sun out. Plenty of ice in the ice machines to fill the cheap styrofoam cooler from Wal-Mart for cold water all... more

Thank you so much! Best Western Cottonwood Inn tries to keep our cost to our guests @ an economical value. Rest in the West with us then visit other surrounding towns within minutes of your hotel room. Taking excursions such as the Verde Canyon Railroad train or Blazin' M Ranch Dinner/Show. I stay at Best Westerns throughout the western half of the U.S., and find them to be a great value. This particular one is probably just on the ok rating. The rooms have doors that open to the outside, wich means all the rooms have swamp coolers for air conditioners, instead of central heating and air. The walls are paper... more

Upon review of this critic, I would like to offer the following comments to potential guests: 1) All rooms have individually controlled AC/heater units. 2) Hotel renovations completed every 4-5 years. Ongoing again as I write this. Our rooms are spacious, modern furniture, up-scale artwork, & inviting. & we have specialty rooms for a little more, ask about a Casita...

A reasonable place to sleep for one night. No elevator and outside access to rooms gives it a motel feel. Outdoor pool not inviting in April in this part of the state. Free breakfast a step above minimal. Cottonwood is close to Sedona (close by Arizona standards anyway) and cheaper all around. But there's nothing to see or do in... more

It is true that many of our visitors stay in Cottonwood and spend their time in one of the surrounding towns. Cottonwood is the gateway to attractions such as the Red Rocks of Sedona (14mi), Verde Canyon Railroad train ride(6mi); Blazin' M Ranch dinner/show(3mi) and, Out of Africa Wildlife Preserve(10mi). All within a few minutes drive from the hotel. Cottonwood,...
