This place was affordable, they upgraded me to a king size room and i have to say that that room was very spacious. The staff is friendly and was a very clean motel, compared to the one i usually stay in at chandler. Walking distance from downtown, so i went to the farmers market after my meeting at city hall.... The motel is near three bars and a Mexican cafe across the street. We had no disturbances even though it was Cinco De Mio. As for the Redwood Motel it was reasonably priced, for one night visit. It was clean, very simple, it's kinda like the old "Motel 6" but no pets. The staff were very kind. But insisted we... More

I wish I had more good to say, but I don't. This place is hard to find and even harder to park if you're driving anything bigger than a compact car. Do not attempt this place with any kind of trailer, RV, etc. First impression was that it was clean, but after 5 minutes on the tile floor, my feet... More

We stayed at the Redwood when we were looking for a reasonably priced motel for the SuperBowl weekend. (It is quite a ways from the Super Bowl site.) Considering the price, the Redwood was a good motel and was very clean. It's older, but managment seems to be working hard to maintain a reasonble place to stay.

It looks better in the pictures. Its an okay place, but not great. Family owned and run, and they were very nice when we came in late the first night. Tile floor, simple décor...however, the mattress cover is stained and who knows when it was washed last. I know it AZ but a light blanket between the sheet and bed... More

Regarding our two week road trip this was the second worst motel. The bathroom was in a very bad shape. The TV did not really work and the bed sheets were dirty with hairs on it. It did not really smell that good either. The lady told us that booking was down but it was not so she wanted to... More

Great little motel. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the innkeepers were helpful and friendly. I received a weekly rate that was very affordable and much less than the big chains. My room was spacious and had a nice size kitchen. The area is quiet and close to shopping and restaurants.

My only thought of improvement is the shower head should disburse more water..it was coming in a drizzle, and the bathtub plug was letting out the water. Other than that, the place is great. No pests. No ruckus. The family, who runs it is very accommodating, and speaks English for good communicating. I would come here anytime there is/was a... More

A small older hotel in a very good location. The hotel is very clean and has been careful maintained. The owner are very nice and take pride in ownership. You can tell the condition of the hotel is very important to the owners. This is the best hotel at this price point that I have ever stayed.

We arrived at 11pm as a walk in, they originally wanted $69 per night just because they think you are desperate for a bed however tell them that the Motel 6 and Super 8 charge $55-59 and you will get it for that price. Once in you will be pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and the resemblance of the package... More
