We did not stay in the the tower, but it did look like the Tower of Terror when we were looking for the hotel in the middle of no where. And then worse, we stayed in the courtyard room. The sheets and pillow in the room were disgusting, VERY old and GROSS. The beds were terrible it hurt our backs... more

Upon looking at the reviews we thought there shouldn't be a problem staying at the casa grande "Resort" Hotel. Unfortunately we learned that this place only deserves the name resort hotel if you mean that it resorts bugs and other creatures you sure do not want to share your night with. My wife and I live nearby and booked a night here last year as a getaway for our anniversary - what a disappointment!! We had to have our room switched because the sheets were still dirty, there were dead bugs on the floor, etc. From a distance it looks nice but it truly is a dump. The locals know it... more

I was pleasently surprised at the hotel. I knew it was recently refurbished. We stayed in the tower with our small chhildren. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Looked okay from the outside, the hotel was in the middle of nowhere, wasn't close to anything inclding the freeway. There was only one person at the front desk and it took me 20 minutes to get checked in. The room was far, there was no lighting and I felt completely unsafe. My husband and I stayed at the Francisco Grande Resort and Golf Club at the end of March. We stayed in one of the tower rooms. Our room was nice and clean. Nice, out-of-the-way place, away from the metropolitan areas of Phoenix & Tucson, yet very accessible. Stay in the tower, rooms are nice, shower needed a bit of tile repair....but housekeeping otherwise good. Course in good shape and wide-open. Excellent food & value in the lounge and restaurant.
