My wife and I were in need of some alone time to rest and recharge our batteries. The time spent at the Carefree Resort was just what the Doctor ordered. The room was spacious and comfortable, the pool..WOW...the resturaunt was excellent and the staff as friendly and helpful as you could wish. We will be back!!! more

The Carefree Resort exemplifies the true spirit of Carefree. Laid back and relaxed the resort is hidden within the town and offers the peace and serenity of the Sonoran Desert which surrounds it. Stayed for a long weekend, it was everything we were looking for. We went hiking, played golf. The restaurants at the resort were great without being overpriced and Carefree is the most charming town in the west. You simple have to experience the Carefree Resort, it is a destination that must be experienced at least once in your lifetime! more

The Carferee resort is a perfectly nice resort - but only that. The rooms are large - but brown. Everything in the room is brown. The bathrooms are even brown - so everyone has a rather sickly pallor in the mirror. The resort amenities are sufficient enough so that you won't feel gypped, but it can be hard to score... more
