At first glance from the highway I thought perhaps we had made an error in choosing Cameron Trading Post as our jumping off point for going into the Grand Canyon National Park. I couldn't have been more wrong! The room is immaculate with very comfortable beds, and attractive Navajo decor. The people who serve you throughout the trading post are... More

What a great find after touring the south rim of the Grand Canyon. This is a jewel in the middle of nowhere. We had a corner room in the Hopi building of the motel and the room was clean, spacious and welcoming. The light fixtures were particularly intriguing. Evening and morning meals were excellent and served in a beautiful restaurant... More

We had a great view with windows on two sides, room was very clean and quite big. We had a delicious supper at the same location with the best Navajo taco! It was HUGE and SO good!! It is in the middle of no where, but was a nice place to stay.

This, as was said in another review is an "Oasis in the Desert", and thta it is. We were looking a not just another place to saty , but something that could be remembered for years to come. Something we could say "we have been there". What a great place and do not miss the restaurant and not just that... More

We stayed at the Cameron Trading Post during a three week road trip. It is a lovely find out in the middle of no-where. We were traveling through and decided to stay here based upon tripadvisor reviews. We were not disappointed with what we found. The hotel is not new, but our room was huge, clean, comfortable and quiet. What... More

Clean room, good rate, room dated but well maintained. Restaurant was good - food and prices - and staff friendly and accommodating. Would stay again. Far east end of Canyon but turned out beneficial. Little Colorado Canyon is amazing and should be seen before the Grand Canyon if possible. Recommend.

Loved this hotel, clean and nicely decorated. Beautiful scenery! Restaurant had good food and great service. Waitresses were very friendly and fun. Makes the whole experience good. Prices were surprisingly lower than we had imagined...

No attendant. After hours attendant no where to be found. Tried calling multiple times. Came from CA-NV-AZ been driving for 18 hours and after seeing this high rating we thought we would give it a shot even tho so secluded it felt "sketchy" but based on reviews we thought OK.

We stayed at the Cameron Trading Post for 1-night in late Jan ($60). The Trading Post is a large complex (lodge, gas station, restaurant, gallery, RV park, huge gift store) that overlooks the Little Colorado River canyon on the edge of the Navajo Reservation. It is 40 min from the east gate to Grand Canyon National Park, a convenient way... More
