Driving en route from Kanab/Page area to Flagstaff, we decided to stop for dinner and hotel/shower - Cameron Trading post was one of very few options we spotted along the way. The room was standard/basic with simple and outdated decor, but was clean and reasonably priced. The restaurant dining room is elaborately decorated and looks like it gets a lot... More

We stayed in RV park. Signage so bad that we ended up in a trapped situation while pulling. Whoever did signs never drove a large RV. That was a BIG issue. It rained while we were there and the park turned into red clay. It took a couple of days of vacuuming to get rug clean. A layer of stone... More

We crossed a bridge under construction in the dark of night. Had to turn into the Parking lot as we were tired. Checked in at the Trading Post desk and they had a room. We wondered what the room would be like and we were very pleased with its size and cleanliness. Front Desk clerk was very helpful guiding us... More

Booked one night here on our way from Zion to middle Arizona. The decorations in the room were very pretty. We had a balcony facing the old bridge with opposing windows facing the court which made a nice breeze. The bathroom was large, so was the room itself and the closet. The hotel is a few feet away from the... More

We stopped here en route to the Grand Canyon. Got there after the office was closed and checked in with security at the gas station. It was amazing to wake up and see the lovely mountains and bridge. The room large and had traditional decorating including gold sheets and gold towels instead of today's white, white and white. So glad... More

We stopped at the store to get gas on our way to the Grand Canyon and ran into the trading post for snacks. All 9 people in our group, which included 2 teenage boys and 5 teenage girls, remarked at how amazing the store was. The selection of gift items and memorabilia, food, clothing, etc. was fantastic. The staff was... More

We stopped here for lunch on our tour through National Parks with Archers Cosmos (excellent tour). From the huge portions of stews, tacos, sarnies and fries we left stuffed and satisfied. The restaurant was very busy but still the service was excellent given we had limited time to stay. The Navaho gift shop was fascinating and the pre owned gold/silver... More

Stayed one night in top floor, king, garden view room. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious (it had a walk in closet!) The bed was new, firm but soft top, it was great. Room was a little musty, but after windows were opened a while it cleared out.

This seemed like a good alternative to staying at the crowded South Rim (and I hadn't made a reservation far enough ahead to get one!). We saw the North Rim first, then drove to Cameron (about 3 hours) and stayed here (the only place to stay, in fact the only place, period, in Cameron). We wanted to see both the... More

Loved this place! The room was super spacious. The staff was great, from front desk to groundskeeper. Lovely rock garden Area. Great home base for the Grand Canyon and the Navajo reservation. A must - Navajo tacos at the restaurant
