We stopped in Cameron Trading Post because we booked it as it is on the way from Grand Canyon to the Monument Valley. It is a nice motel, rooms are clean and well equipped, not very silent (works on the highway were clearly listened...) but a very good solution for one night on that way.

The rooms are clean and well lit. It was about half way to GRAND CANYON. It had the usual amenities . The beds were comfortable and the light blanket was needed with the a/c going. Since the restaurant quad so good we stayed for breakfast. Definately will stay on our next visit.

Surprising hotel oasis in the desert. We had just spent the day at Grand Canyon's South Rim and were on the way to visit Zion. The room was not fancy but very clean with a "spot on" southwest decor. Right outside our room was a lovely flower garden courtyard. Don't miss trying the delicious Navajo Taco for dinner. We were... More

The Cameron Trading Post is a great place to stay. The people are friendly and the service is fantastic! We stayed there for 2 nights and toured around on our motorcycle to Monument Valley (where John Wayne did many of his westerns), the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and then to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. The... More

This place is so wonderful, so welcoming, so pleasant, so atmospheric. You must experience it. The rooms are clean and charming with lots of Southwestern flare. the grounds are majestic. Close to all that is beautiful and inspiring. Staff are wonderful-so pleasant and welcoming.

Cameron Trading post was a perfect location for our planned trip to the Grand Canyon. We drove to the north rim one day and headed back, did the south rim the following day, and then headed to Bearazona. All in all I would definately recommend this Hotel for Grand Canyon trips. HUGE gift shop and lovely gardens. They did a... More

One of the nicest hotel room we had during our 7 months around the world trip. The room was very clean and very nicely decorated. The garden was under construction but when ready I believe it will be very beautiful with open fire grill. For us this was only one night stopover so I can't say whether there is anything... More

We came to get gas thinking that this is just a another local Native American store. It turned out to be delightful in every respect with a great restaurant, a very helpful concierge named Andy, clean and spacious rooms, a lovely garden and a store with all sorts of Southwestern jewelry and gifts. Cameron is a delightful place to stay... More

We stayed at the rv park across the road. It was in need of some upkeep but worked for us as we were only staying one night and had full hookups. The other side of the road where the hotel, restaurant and store was great very well taken care of. We ate in the restuant and enjoyed the recommended entree which... More

The hotel and trading post is like an oasis in the desert. It is completely different in feel from the major chains:no pool, no exercise room, no complimentary breakfast (but does have decent WiFi). The rooms are large with a nice balcony, furnished in old-country style. The hotel has character, a nice break from all the chain hotels we stayed... More
