The places in the park were full and this is the closest to the less-busy East entrance. It's a nice drive into the park, but takes about half an hour to get to the entrance and a good hour to the main visitors center. Our room was nice. Only problem is there is no refrigerator and wireless was not very... More

We stayed here en-route to Monument Valley. The place is clean with secure parking. For anyone thinking that you can enjoy a beer after a long drive - forget it! Milkshakes, water and cool drinks to wash away your food. I did not find the staff all that friendly. Great stop for souvenir shopping and to fill up your tank.

We got the last room available, which was an expensive suite. We took it as we were tired driving. We were so happy we got this room, as it was wonderful. A lovely and relaxing rest for us from our long drive. The door opened to a beautiful, old garden. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. We ate in... More

Sort of a southwestern version of Cracker Barrel...restaurant with large shopping area. Good for a 15 minute potty break. Wander around back to snap a pic of their canyon and bridge. There is also a pretty garden in the courtyard of the hotel. Pick up a few authentic Navajo souvenirs , use the restroom and then continue your journey.

Hotel staff was very helpful, friendly and courteous. The room was clean and the beds were comfy as well. The restaurant was really good and open late. My wife and I. Had the fried bread tacos and they were fantastic. Great views from the room of the river and bridge.

The view to the canyon is fantastic, design of rooms is in Native American style. Very cozy! Good location for visiting Monument valley and Antelope canyon. The only negative thing is very noisy airco from the restaurant. Since all rooms with view in building A have windows on both sides one can't avoid hearing that "monster".

We stayed here one night on the way to Utah. We arrived about 8pm and left at 4 am. We slept maybe 3 hours: the RV across from us had their television on loud the entire time and it appeared no one was there. The RV next to us had an alarm clock go off at 2:30 am at full... More

We absolutely loved the Trading Post! Our room was huge- a full size living room with big screen tv, bar with barstools, and a huge bedroom. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable, the restaurant was decent and the store was just plain fun to shop in.

Stayed at the hotel, beautiful rooms, loved the decor!! The trading post next door was addicting, I spent hours in there and I hate shopping!! It was such a short drive to the Grand Canyon nation park from this place. Will stay here again!

Yesterday returned from taking our Granddaughter to see the Grand Canyon. We live in Sedona, and have been to the Cameron Trading Post numerous times, but never the motel. Of course, wanted to stay right inside the canyon, but that is impossible unless you book very very early, the hotels right outside the park have jacked up their prices because... More
