We stayed at the Cameron Trading Post during a three week road trip. It is a lovely find out in the middle of no-where. We were traveling through and decided to stay here based upon tripadvisor reviews. We were not disappointed with what we found. The hotel is not new, but our room was huge, clean, comfortable and quiet. What... More

Clean room, good rate, room dated but well maintained. Restaurant was good - food and prices - and staff friendly and accommodating. Would stay again. Far east end of Canyon but turned out beneficial. Little Colorado Canyon is amazing and should be seen before the Grand Canyon if possible. Recommend.

Loved this hotel, clean and nicely decorated. Beautiful scenery! Restaurant had good food and great service. Waitresses were very friendly and fun. Makes the whole experience good. Prices were surprisingly lower than we had imagined...

No attendant. After hours attendant no where to be found. Tried calling multiple times. Came from CA-NV-AZ been driving for 18 hours and after seeing this high rating we thought we would give it a shot even tho so secluded it felt "sketchy" but based on reviews we thought OK.

We stayed at the Cameron Trading Post for 1-night in late Jan ($60). The Trading Post is a large complex (lodge, gas station, restaurant, gallery, RV park, huge gift store) that overlooks the Little Colorado River canyon on the edge of the Navajo Reservation. It is 40 min from the east gate to Grand Canyon National Park, a convenient way... More

If you're traveling on Hwy 89 be sure to stop and stay a night or two at Cameron Trading Post Motel. Reasonable rates, extreemly clean rooms and great staff. I stayed there 2 nights and had a wonderful room with 2 very comfortable queen beds. Room was decorated nicely with Native American design. The room was so clean, which is... More

Stopped in here with my four small children during an off-season visit to the Grand Canyon. Thought about continuing on to Page or Flagstaff, but since we are not on a clock, thought we'd check this place out instead, and wow, was I impressed! The clerk at the desk was friendly and helpful, the room was large enough for our... More

When staying so close to a major tourist attraction, you expect to pay a bit more than usual. When it's pretty much in the middle of nowhere, we expected the price hike to be even worse. However, the price we paid wasn't too bad and the accommodation was quite nice overall. The colour scheme in the room made a really... More

An unexpected surprise. The trading post rooms were large, well appointed, and quiet. We were expecting to have to pay much more than the $70 (with AAA discount). Try out the French toast with prickly caucus jelly and cream cheese. We split one and were both full. I

Driving en route from Kanab/Page area to Flagstaff, we decided to stop for dinner and hotel/shower - Cameron Trading post was one of very few options we spotted along the way. The room was standard/basic with simple and outdated decor, but was clean and reasonably priced. The restaurant dining room is elaborately decorated and looks like it gets a lot... More
