My husband decided at the last minute to take the "scenic route" home from Sante Fe. He said our stay-over would be in Cameron. This was the only place I found on-line when searching for a hotel. But what a gem! We got in rather late but the security staff was very courteous and helpful. Our room was very spacious... more

Clean, big, comfortable & affordable rooms with a nice Native American style and all the little amenities you need for a good night's stay about 40 miles on the way to or from the east side of Grand Canyon's South Rim. There's a gas station, post office, huge gift shop, grocery store, and restaurant on the premises, which is a... more

We were pleased to find this self contained village seemingly in the middle of nowhere. The service was good (even better in the restaurant), the rooms were clean, and the store well stocked. There's even a gas station and a post office there. The free wireless internet was also nice. There was a slight drawback with a septic odor in... more

This beautiful motel was a gem in the desert. The rooms have really been thought about, there are works of art on the walls , decorative lamps and beautiful beds. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the little colorado. The ambience in the restaurant was lovely, excellent service, fabulous food. There is a very good large store attached... more

When we pulled in to check in the parking lot was full of tour buses and other tourist.Very noisy & busy, but quieted down. Our room was spacious, however the air conditioning was deafening and we were far from the designated "dog walking area" which was right next to the highway and full of trash. I felt "trapped" because there... more

This hotel was a wonderful place to stay for our visit to the Grand Canyon and Navajo and Hopi Indian Reservations . The rooms were very clean and we had very comfortable beds. I liked the large rooms and bathroom. The rooms were decorated with native American decor. Having a restaurant and gift shop on the premises was very nice... more

It was like an oasis in the desert! The rooms were nice, if a little small, beautifully decorated. Our balcony overlooked the Little Colorado Canyon and a really neat old suspension bridge. The gift shop was HUGE and the restaurant was great. Get the Navajo hot beef special! There is a little garden hidden near one of the buildings which... more

I knew this area of the southwest pretty well, and was with my husband on a trip back to the Canyon. Cameron Trading Post G.C. Hotel was one of our stops. I was very pleased that the new hotel blended in very nicely with the old trading post and hotel, as well as the Little Colorado River views. We had... more

When we arrived here we found it was a superbe place, it was 9.30 pm and so we immediately went to the restaurant to have our dinner. It was good but I didn't like the fact that on the bill they had indicated the tip as compulsory: 5 $, not cheap! After dinner we went to our room to take... more

On our way from Santa Fe, to visit the Grand Canyon, we tried this hotel/lodge sight-unseen. We were not disappointed. Very clean, reasonable rooms, very close to the South Rim entrance to the park. Rooms not fancy, but adequate and pleasant. Lovely view from our balcony right into the Little Colorado Canyon (like a "mini-grand canyon") Delicious food in the... more
