This hotel offers everything you need with wifi, spacious rooms, lovely views, a restaurant and a large gift shop & grocery store. The restaurant has lovely decor in traditional tribal styles and the food is reasonable. Wifi was a bit slow, but this is a lovely area to stay around the Grad Canyon & is less than 1 hour from... It's near the Grand Canyon, so most hotels will be expensive. This one is a motel, but it has the feel of the hotel. It was clean, spacious, and the staff was VERY courteous. To this, add the LARGE Gift Shop, small store, and restaurant that goes alongside the hotel (the gift shope, store, and restaurant are open to the... More

We stayed here as we traveled to each rim of the Grand Canyon. The facilities are very, very simple, and could use some updating (the bathroom was TINY). But overall, it was very clean and comfortable, and a place I would recommend.

We spent several nights at the Cameron Trading Post while we were visiting the Grand Canyon. We had a quiet, spacious room. We ate several dinners at the Trading Post restaurant. Almost all of the staff/servers were very friendly and helpful. We also did some shopping at the Trading Post gift shop. We would highly recommend this spot as a... More

We did the eastern portion of the park in the afternoon, ending up at the Watchtower. The hotel and adjacent facilities are a quick trip from the east gate on a good road. The check-in counter is located in the far back of the store and shopping area, not real ez to find. Nice people at the desk and quick... More

Very friendly service and nice quiet rooms. This place is about an hour drive from the Grand Canyon but it is not your "same old" hotel stay. The restaurant is very good and serves local flavors and a variety of dishes. You will have to drive south down the road about 7 miles to Mickey's if you want beer. We... More

After visiting Zion Canyon and the north rim of the Grand Canyon, we decided to see the south rim of the Grand Canyon also, since we had not been in any of this parts we picked up in a map the town of Cameron,to make a rest stop and spend the evening there, since it was a short distance from... On the very tip of the Grand Canyon, restaurant was great. Had to drive 1/2 hr for alcohol because it's a dry county, but got to see more scenery. We saw this place on this website and trusted the review, very glad we did!

The Good: Location! Unique "community" with hotel, restaurant, shops, full trading post. Quiet hotel area, solid larger rooms, double vanity separate from toilet and shower. The Bad: Rooms showing signs of age, some linens need replacing, "rattle" in AC unit. The Details: I really wanted to give this place a 5 rating, but couldn't due to the few bad items... More
