Recently spent one night at the Cameron Trading Post Grand Canyon Hotel. Room was HUGE. Lots of space with nice furnishing in the Desert Southwest theme. Bath towels seems to be brand new. Bathroom sink fixtures / tiles could possibly use a minor update. Overall, clean room with comfortable beds at a decent price.

We turned up around 8pm, had no problem with prebooked accomodation. Room was very clean and functional. Note - no fridge or microwave . Had quite upstairs room looking over beaut garden. This facility has large gift shop/ restaurant (recommended) and Petrol (gas) Station.

Stayed two nights here on our AZ tour, as we drove up through Navajo/Hopi Country from Winslow to go to the Grand Canyon. Staff was friendly, with easy and quick check in. Room was huge, clean, double sinks and large counters in the bath area. Nice hot shower with good pressure. Restaurant has huge portions, food is nothing super fancy,... More

We only stayed one night in this hotel but really enjoyed the spacious, comfortable room and service. It even has a view of the canyon behind it. The washroom has a double sink, a luxury we didn't find in any of the other hotels on this trip in Arizona. Neither of the sinks have a stopper and I needed that... More

This is the closest hotel to the South Rim of the Canyon and a very nice place to stay. The rooms are very nicely decorated in the south-west style and rooms are large. However - there are no fridge or micro. Just a coffee maker. Also, no breakfast is included in the price. On-site Restaurant is very nice with friendly... More

A trip through the Southwest would be incomplete without a visit to Cameron's Trading Post. The hotel itself is nice; the rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, the southwest decorations are lovely. We love to peruse the huge 'trading post' with everything Native American you could be looking for. We also love to eat in the amazing dining room.... More

Rooms were larger than expected, beds comfortable, quiet, 30 minutes from the East entrance to Grand Canyon. Pretty little garden area and a nice view of the river from the balcony. Convenience store on site-snacks, toiletries, etc. and a huge gift shop with everything imaginable. Sometimes gets busy with tour buses that stop. Have read that the restaurant is good,... More

This was a very pleasant surprise! Room is large and comfy. Trading post has anything you could desire. I am in room H319. Terrific view of bridge. The garden area has a fire crackling. Sit on the stone wall/bench upstairs outside the garden and feel the warmth relax you.

Nice experience. Good Restaurant-Breakfasts were great, great food, large portions. Huge Trading Post shopping, many selections. Hotel is average for the area, view of Little Colorado River Original Bridge and Hotel Courtyard. Very accommodating staff. Enough away from the Canyon to have reasonable prices- 1/2 hour to East Rim and awesome Canyon viewings. Will return

This is my third stop here. This time I planned my trip to be able to stay here and dine here. The beds are great, the rooms are large and comfortable. The staff is generally helpful, but they can get slammed by a tour bus. The restaurant is good quality and reasonably priced. But the real highlight is the decorations.... More
