I chose to stay on the outskirts of Bisbee in order to have wi-fi services and parking. Although the rates for a single room with a double bed was reasonable at $55, I was concerned that my room did not have a security or a chain lock inside the room and the screen on the window had been torn. I... more

We stayed here for a few days in July. I sat in the car while my boyfriend checked in. A mere 30 minutes later he came back to the car, frustrated. He explained to me that he had to show the guy behind the counter how to use the copy machine to get a copy of his receipt. He also... more

Not the most convenient position but very good value for money, this basic motel has extemely clean, well decorated rooms with fridge, Microwave and cable TV. Free wi-fi is included and worked well. It took us a little while to find it as it is about 3 miles outside the center of Bisbee but once you know where it is... more

I stayed this week at the San Jose Lodge on business and found the rooms clean (my room had new curtains and a new bedspread) though my colleagues expressed some minor problems with their rooms. In my room I did find the bathroom towels were worn a bit. The room includes a sofa, small desk, 25 inch tube TV with... more

The San Jose Lodge is a normal motel with updated rooms We travel to Bisbee several times a year and prefer to stay there because the rooms are clean with coffee service, microwave and fridge. The location is not too far from Bisbee, in fact, I like that it is away from the craziness of the town. We have stayed... more

Do not go by the photos on this Lodge's website. The RV park is not at all maintained, is not for people with pets due to the sand burrs that are everywhere - and really not fit for people either as no matter what you do you drag sand burrs with you. I was very disappointed - I'm all for... more

People come to Bisbee for the Bisbee quirkiness. This has none of that. Plus it's out of town. What is does have is a pool (one of only two in the whole area that we have found, the other being at the Copper Queen). Perfectly normal motel at about twice the price of similar accomodations anywhere else in the country.... more

Other places in Bisbee more condusive for pets and their owners --at lower prices and with much more character. Actually looked at others on this visit. This is overpriced for what you get with or without pets. No decent walking area for animals. Burrs were everywhere. Pets were literally crippled by them. They brought blood to us when trying to... more

We have visited the San Jose Lodge for 7 years now and have seen it go through its transition. The service is great and the prices are right on. We love to have a nice quite getaway from the city hussel and bussel and this place gives us what we need. The resturant has great food and bisbee is right... more

This is what you would expect of a motel. Nothing quaint, but clean and quiet. It is out of town, which can be a relief during holidays as Bisbee sometimes gets noisy with parades and drunks, etc. The out of town location can be inconvenient; however, there is a Safeway up the street and a pretty good Mexican Restaurant nearby.... more
