My husband and I stayed in unit 2 for one night for our anniversary and we enjoyed our time! The garden area was beautiful and relaxing. The room was nicely arranged and quaint. The location is very convenient to downtown Bisbee as it is close enough to enjoy all the fun but just far enough away to have peace and... More

Bugs everywhere; in the bed, on walls, ceilings, furniture, countertops. Dirty inside. Uncomfortable V-shaped bed with sheets that don't fit the bed and pop off the corners throughout the night. Slanting toilet leans heavily to one side. Most likely foundation issues. Termites (probably) in the kitchen. I no sooner got in bed than a spider crawled on my back -... More

Huh! I wonder why your experience was so different than most of our guests. I am so sorry that you had any problems here. We try to assist anyone with issues while you were here, yet you never did come up and let us know any of these things! More

Initial impression was a bit tentative because of its rustic appearance, but we quickly fell in love with Mile High, and especially it's owner, Maggie. She is relaxing and welcoming and we shared some very insightful and fulfilling conversations. We had Room #4 and could not have been more pleased. It is immaculately clean and you are left wanting for... More

We spent one night at The Gardens while on a road trip. Chose the place because it was pet friendly but, unfortunately, our first encounter with the owner's dog was a bit frightening for all of us. My husband didn't notice the sign on the door saying to ring first, so he opened it and a huge dog came running... More

We apologized at the time this happened, and the direct quote from the wife was 'old men do not read signs'. Our sign at the front door explains to ring first, and DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR, especially if you have a dog with you. As animal lovers, our guests generally realize that there are healthy boundaries to keep no... More

Maybe not for everyone, however, if you want a fabulously relaxing getaway this is it. A bit funky around the edges but so clean! Peaceful gardens, and the owner is amazing. We'll be back just for the ambiance. Comfortable beds, I wanted to stay for a month.

We had been on a 7 day trip throughout the Southwest and spent the night in Bisbee for the Queen Mine tours. We showed up and were pleasantly surprised by oh homey this place males you feel. It was nice to have the porch out front to enjoy the crisp mountain evening and have coffee the next morning! They have... More

Found this place from an Arizona travel guide. Not what we expected. Our room was a rustic but clean suite. The mattress is like a canoe. Spent 2 nights and left with aching backs. As far as bed and breakfast, breakfast is extra if you choose it. Would have preferred to have a TV in the bedroom since we are... More

Too bad we could only stay one night. Just sitting in the outdoor rocking chairs listening to the bird song is worth staying at least two nights. It is located at the N end of town, approx. a mile to the Bisbee Breakfast club. Good stretch for our legs to go to the Screaming Banshee for a beer. I also... More

It's a family owned place. ... Very rustic cabin type with colorful paint. ... A nice wide garden. ... It's kinda like visiting your grama or relatives feel into it. ... it's not far from the Bisbee historical down town. ... 2 mins drive. ... Maggie check us in. ... we got unit 4. ... The unit has a small... More
