We came and left by ferry, so very convenient location. We had a room at the end, so quieter than some have mentioned. Also the room faced the water, which was very nice. We had a suite that had a small frig and microwave, which we like so that we can do our own breakfasts and lunches.

The Inn is a welcome option in this fairly small and remote Alaskan town that serves as an access point for so many outdoor adventures and activities. The rooms could not have been nicer -- large, immaculate, with free wi-fi and cable TV. Splendid views from the window. Service is erratic as is the case for much of Alaska's hospitality... More

The rooms are large but our view was the parking lot not the water. The only problem is that the walls are very thin and televisions are on the wall of the adjoining room right above your head when in bed. We could here discussions of the people in the adjoining room as well as listen to their tv. The... More

Our group typically goes through another city to enter into Alaska for fishing in the inside passage. This year we flew into Wrangell and I am very happy we stayed at the Stikine Inn. Very welcoming and let us drop our gear early while we went and explored the town. Our room had 3 bed's, and each was I believe... More

Only stopped by to use the Wifi but found superb mocha. Was in Wrangell for a morning early in June and not a lot was open but found the service here excellent with a wonderful view across the channel.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Stikine. They offer a shuttle from the airport and if they're not booked up early/late checkout. The staff and the owners were friendly and interesting to talk to. This is an old building but has been restored to modern comfort and is clean. My room was second floor ocean view for $114/night. I opened... More

This is my first staying here.. The room I could lay in bed and look out the channel... My second night having dinner they had served fresh halibut and chips.. The halibut was so moist... My room was big enough for for me... The staff was friendly... The only thing that was wrong they didn't serve breakfast in the dining... More

Last night I stayed at The Stikine Inn in Wrangell, Alaska. My room was on the second floor and offered a beautiful view of the ocean and dock. The sunset was stunning. I found out this morning that the wind was howling but I didn't hear a thing. Went right to sleep in a comfortable bed. The room was clean,... More

Stikine Inn is a comfortable place to stay. Located close to everything primarily at the docks where all the jet boats leave for Stikine River and Anan Bear Observatory. They where very helpful with a change in rooms (needed tow beds) even with a pretty full hotel. Resturant and bar located on first floor. Bartender (owner) pours a great drink... More

Perfect location right on the water with a delicious restaurant. The servings are huge. The rooms are dated perhaps with a recent facelift sill with some room for upgrades such as solid core doors new locking mechanisms soundproofing. Basically it's and old building. Great coffee bar in the lobby.
