We were soaking wet, cold and tired, and in a foreign country. The family that owns the inn (see their photo elsewhere on this page) took care of us, way beyond the call of duty, and it was much appreciated. Under new ownership for one week when I stayed at the Stikine Inn, the new owners bent over backwards to see to my comfort. The dining room's huge picture windows allowed me to gaze at the water and I even saw two sea lions go by as I ate. It is very comfortable, nice and clean. My room was spacious. more
My traveling companions and I were very pleased with our stay at the Stinine Inn. I would definitely recommend an ocean view room. The rooms are large, and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The staff said they hear that comment all the time. The hotel is conveniently located dockside, right down town.
