This motel would be the last choice of all the motels I have stayed at in the last two weeks. My husband and I are taking a driving tour of Alaska and we drive & sight see until we get tired. We pulled into the Alaskan View Motel because it looks pretty cute from the outside. I will admit that... More

Previously submitted negative comments are right on the mark. Good location and basic cleanliness are the only positive aspects. Rates are overpriced and the beds are deplorable; no excuse considering the cost and the proximity of the Mattress Ranch. Owner not concerned and refused to negotiate, content to take advantage of people. But there is a worse place in Palmer.

Just one or two steps above a by the hour flop house. The police visit this motel more often than the donut shop. Rooms are fairly clean but I recommend tourists keep driving on to Anchorage. There are some stunning views of the mountains.

The room was very basic but tidy enough. Stayed in other places along the way that were only slightly more expensive but streets ahead in quality so I would seek those places out. A little noisey being on the main road and their thin walls meant you could easily hear other guests. However it served a purpose of providing a... More

I travel to Wasila fequesntly for rabbit shows. I always stay at this hotel because it is clean, inexpensive and allowes me to keep my animals in the room with me. I would not recomend this motel to someone looking for luxery. It is small with few ammenities. However for a quick trip or if you. like me, want to... More

This is a cheap motel in every sense except for the price. The beds are bad, it's a little noisy, and the rooms are small. But it was clean and the staff was friendly. I would stay there again if I couldn't find anything else.

The (walk up) prices of the motels in Alaska never seem to cease to horrify me.. Wasilla, with all due respect is not much of a town, but these motel prices, wow! Tried Alaska's Select Inn Motel but they charged way too much. Next we tried Alaska View Motel, which we found 20+ dollars cheaper. No complimentary breakfast, not even... More

I rarely write reviews but our experience at this motel needed to be told so that othesr are aware of what they may be getting into. Checked rates of other motels before checking in - only a few bucks less than others in the area. From the ooutside looks great - log cabin look and it is right off major... More

The service was friendly if a little gruff. The rooms were fairly nice for the price and I was happy with everything--until I tried to sleep! That mattress was the HARDEST bed I have ever, ever slept on. I was tempted to lift up the sheets and see if there was really a mattress under there. I know they have... More
