Like big mobile home :/ with tiny rooms! Wow! I can't believe I payed over a 100$ to stay there and that was a "special" rate because we live here in Alaska! ....don't think I'll be staying there again!!

My mother and I stayed here while touring Valdez. It is quaint and feels like an old army barracks turned hotel. it is clean and pretty private accommodations with wi-fi free. There is breakfast which we haven't experienced yet and probably won't as we are taking a morning tour. The front dest reception was very nice and everyone is polite... More

I had to come into town at the last minute for some business. There was a bike race in town so most of the hotels were booked. This was third on the list as recommended by the lady at the car rental place (I think I got the last car available as well). It looks like an old bunk house.... More

Not much to choose from in Valdez, however, for the price, the Keystone was a good choice. There were many different types of people staying there. A big bike race to Valdez ended the day I was there and many of the bikers stayed there and they took their bikes to their rooms. Clean and quiet.

Room and beds were small but clean, thumbs up to the staff, they were helpful in more ways than one, we wanted to change rooms after looking out the window into nothing but the next building. We changed rooms, the second room had better atmosphere (window with a view and smelled fresher) Great shower and clean bathroom, wifi, cable with... More

After reviewing hotels in Valdez we opted for the Keystone. About half the price of the chain hotel in town. We got off the ferry and they Keystone was right around the corner. The hotel appears to have been a old dormitory from the Oil boom days. Odd layout but the rooms were clean, the bed was Ok and that... More

Refurbished Atco trailers. Clean but not comfortable. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water for showers. No elevator so you do need to hall your own luggage. Fine for 1 night to get out of the weather. If the other hotels weren't full we would not have stayed there.

We stayed one night at the Keystone Hotel after travelling from Seward to Whittier and catching the ferry through Prince William Sound. This was part of a G Adventures tour. The Keystone is an older place constructed with metal looking walls. Some people compare it to shipping containers. Our room is small, but fine. Best of all - we have... More

Stayed 2 nights with husband, baby, and our dog. The hotel and room feel a bit like a 1970s trailer, but seemed pretty clean. Rooms are small, just double bed and twin bed pushed against the walls with just enough space to open the small door and get in, also had a small desk and dresser/TV. Still had enough room... More

I'm not sure what information I found to decide to stay here but I wish we had stayed elsewhere. They are dog friendly so that was possibly the reason but our room was about as far from the lobby as you could get. I could have sworn that I had booked the only king room (could have been an issue... More
