Another oil company leftover. Staff not very friendly. Room was small with nothing other than small old beds, small TV and at least a decent shower. Walls were very thin and noisy. Breakfast was very basic. Clean, but well worn. Glad we only slept here.

Rooms are quite small but clean. My room did not have a microwave oven or a fridge. A basic breakfast is provided. Location is good. Front desk lady was not welcoming at all. Overall an average place to stay.

Yet another hotel in rural Alaska that is a place to sleep and not much else. Reminded me of a mobile home or cruise ship accommodations, though not quite that small. You should expect a lot for the price, just know that going in and you will not be disappointed. Rooms were clean, thin walls, no control of thermostat, a... More

I stayed here August 9, 2015 whiel on a short trip to Valdez and while it was nothing fancy, it was clean and the staff was friendly. The price was right and I would stay there again. They did include breakfast (I didn't use it).The room had a double and a twin bed in it along with a phone and... More

This was the cheapest option in Valdez, and for the price it did not disappoint. Continental breakfast, cable TV, a bed, and a hot shower. Small rooms and marginal room service, but again it's a cheap place to stay. We were there 7 nights, I think the bed was made 2 nights. Oh well, we were out fishing all day,... More

This hotel is left over from the clean up of the Exxon Valdez spill. It was a camp to house clean up crews and was purchased afterwards and turned into a hotel. Bathrooms for each room were added on later. It is not a luxury place, no doubt about that. However, it was very clean, and the staff were friendly,... More

Like big mobile home :/ with tiny rooms! Wow! I can't believe I payed over a 100$ to stay there and that was a "special" rate because we live here in Alaska! ....don't think I'll be staying there again!!

My mother and I stayed here while touring Valdez. It is quaint and feels like an old army barracks turned hotel. it is clean and pretty private accommodations with wi-fi free. There is breakfast which we haven't experienced yet and probably won't as we are taking a morning tour. The front dest reception was very nice and everyone is polite... More

I had to come into town at the last minute for some business. There was a bike race in town so most of the hotels were booked. This was third on the list as recommended by the lady at the car rental place (I think I got the last car available as well). It looks like an old bunk house.... More

Not much to choose from in Valdez, however, for the price, the Keystone was a good choice. There were many different types of people staying there. A big bike race to Valdez ended the day I was there and many of the bikers stayed there and they took their bikes to their rooms. Clean and quiet.
