We stayed at the Keystone Hotel while driving through Alaska on business, and we had an interesting experience. First I would like to give credit where credit is due...the rooms were clean, and the entire hotel is nonsmoking, and there is free wireless internet, all of which I appreciate greatly. The hotel is two stories of atco trailers, with tiny rooms that have had a lot of wear and tear. The beds are lumpy, walls very thin, curtains do not match the bedspreads, nightstand was bolted onto the wall crooked, and all furniture had scrapes and dents, carpet is cheap and thin, if you care about these things. The clientele seemed to be mainly contractors and fishermen, and random odd people. Me and my traveling partner are both women in our late twenties, which seemed to be our downfall. I could not get a wireless signal in our room, so I went out to the "sunroom" to check my email where within five minutes I was approached by two separate really strange men looking for a date... more
