We loved this RV park. We stayed in the "adult only" section and found it very quiet. It was very close to everything. Clean, elect, water, free wifi, and nice views on the bay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The 24 hour quiet time was a plus

Service is awful, rude staff, lots of rules. Quiet time is "all the time" as many signs remind you. It's like staying at your grumpy grandmother's house. You would be better off at Eagle's Rest, where they appreciate their guests and don't view them as a nuisance.

We camped in the 'adults only' part of Bear Paw, by the water rather than at the main RV park in the centre of town. It was quiet, clean, with great amenities and lovely elevated sites for tents. A short walk to town, free wifi.

Wow. We stayed at the adult only campground and it was sad to see signs all over the buildings for the people camping in their tents at this campground to keep out of the buildings, laundry facilities, restroom, and shower facilities...that these were for the RV people only and tenters had to use their own. However, there were no signs... More

Wow, we were able to stay at the "adults" only site, and you could not find a better site in Alaska. (The original larger site looks like a parking lot in the middle of the city, but is probably readily available for lots of destinations.) Right on the port, you back in to the water, small number of sites, very... More

This RV park was the best private park we stayed at during our travel in Alaska. Water, power and dump available for each site. Wifi and cable included. It is a small site but had 4 bathrooms and 2 toilet rooms which were relatively clean and with plenty of hot water. We would stay again.

While travelling through Valdez we stayed at this rv park on the adult side. It was probably the 2nd best park we stayed at on our trip. The site is right on the water, has free showers (many of the parks charge), free wifi, laundry cheap to do, only $1.50 per load. If you don't stay on the adult side... More

We found the regular bear paw campground first as it's in the centre of town. It is just an ugly RV park in the middle of a town block and it was packed! Wall to wall rv's, no trees or view. We found they had the second, smaller adults only site. It was really great! It is down by the... More

We stayed in Bear Paw 2, that is smaller (around 30 sites) than Bear Paw and for adults only. For us this is an advantage because we really don't like big RV parks. There is no separation between campers, as in most of commercial parks with amenities. It is in the waterfront, and it has really nice views. There is... More

We arrived at Bear Paw and found that we had a pucture. Staff were incredibly helpful and assisted us with contacting the hire company. The RV was then fixed whilst we were out the next day, allowing us to continue with our trip. The rates were also excellent in comparison to the rest of Alaska and the facilities were immaculate....
