We were very pleased with the accomodations provided. It was extremely clean and comfortable. Great B&B, VERY clean and cozy. We booked one room but ended up having the whole common area, kitchen and bathroom to ourselves which was very nice! The kitchen was perfect for cooking our own meals and it was stocked with extra food (including bread, fruit, juice, milk, cookies, popcorn, yogurt, hot coco ETC!) which we didn't expect. We found the Cedar House online and made our reservation easily via e-mail. It's in a nice two-story home in a residential setting close to downtown Valdez. We just returned from three nights in Valdez at the Cedar House and were very pleased...as far as I can see, the hotel/motel choices really suck. The Best Western is probably the best choice in this group, but I still would prefer the Cedar even if it wasn't half the price... The Cedar is a short walk from the boat... more
May 2008 Fantastic B&B. You have your own privacy. Rooms, kitchen and living room are separeted of your host. Furniture and ornaments quite pretty. Very close of the main attractions and harbour. Just two nights, but when I come back again, I'll choose it, sure!!!! more
