We stayed at the Cleft of the Rock B&B on our way cross country from Miami FL to Kodiak AK. Bob and Betty Lou were awesome. We stayed in the sourdough cabin. It was roomy enough for me, my husband, our infant (and his pack & play) and our two Boston Terriers. The cabin was much like a studio room,... More

This was the first night of a 5-week Trans Canada motorcycle trip and we definitely got off on a good start with this B&B. The cabin was comfortable and had all we needed for a restful night. While it may not compare with a 5-star hotel, for the area and what a person needs after a long day of travelling,... More

We rented one of the smaller cabins with one bed. The cabin included a refrigerator, small TV, one queen size bed, a small table with chairs, an electric heater and bathroom. The bathroom sink was in the bedroom area. We loved the area - it was so quiet, comfortable and relaxing. This cabin was also dog friendly and our dog... More

This wonderful B&B is tucked away just off the Tok highway. Bob and Betty Lou are most accommodating. The area is all woods with great cabins and a hot breakfast shared with fellow travelers every morning. It's a chance to eat homemade muffins and reindeer sausage while swapping stories and getting to experience others success of adventure and wildlife sighting.... More

We stayed in two of the cabins (we were traveling with another couple) in late July, 2014. This is a very lovely place; set in the woods and laid out so no one cabin sits on top of another. Plenty of space for privacy. The cabin was cozy and well laid out. We had more than enough room for 2... More

I was able to book a cabin the same evening we needed one. We were on our way through town and needed somewhere that was pet friendly. Fortunately, I was able to get a cabin. It was cozy. For the price, we had much more room and privacy than a conventional hotel room. Our hosts had a lovely breakfast with... More

Tok, AK is a crossroads. Few people come here for the activity (except possibly for hunting or fishing). Most people are just passing through. So, I didn't expect to find a B and B that was as warm and welcoming as this one. The cabins are clean and comfortable. Mine had a full bathroom, a nice sitting porch, a microwave... More

We enjoyed two nights at Cleft of the Rock. We found the cabins clean and comfortable, and the breakfast hearty. Since everyone staying there gathered for breakfast at once (8 am), we found ample opportunity for good conversation. If possible, arrive early evening, and allow time to enjoy the nightly local music.

It's a crossroads is TOK, (which we pronounced Took and apparently is should be pronounced Toak) and to our untrained British eyes not a overly exciting place at first sight. Even finding the Cleft of the Rock B&B log cabins was not without it problems as the owners posted their PO box as the addresses location; which confused our Sat-nav... More

Cleft of the Rock was a great place to stay. The accommodations were excellent and the breakfasts delicious and very filling. For those guests not in a hurry, there was leisurely good conversation around the table. The hosts were also very helpful in giving us travel information.
