We just stumbled upon this place traveling down the Richardson Highway and were very glad that we did. It is an old Roadhouse that had been very well maintained. The owners and employees were very nice. The lodge and building are rustic and beautiful and the food in the Carriage House was excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone. more

Well maintained old Alaskan Lodge. When you approach the lodge it appears to be a small town but the lodge, bar and restaurant are all seperate giving the appearance. We enjoyed our stay at this historic lodge. The decor was intriguing and seemed authentic. The floor slanted in our room but the plumbing worked great and it had free horseshoes and internet. We were thrilled with finding this place also since there are very few options on the east side of the Denali Highway. more
