I've only been in a few B&B's but they have usually made me feel like I was staying at a relative's house with the shared bathroom etc. With the separate bathroom facilities, you have the privacy that some people really do prefer. The rooms are are all decorated very elegantly and you can tell a lot of care was taken... more

We stayed for two nights during our holidays in Alaska. First thing w noticed was the very quiet location. The room had tasteful and beautiful decorations. The best part to me was breakfast; Not only for the delightfull food that was served but more for the chat with other guests and the hosts. Maggie is a very warm person who... more

If your travels ever take you to Tok, Alaska you must stay at the Moosebrerry B&B. Not only do they do the normal B&B stuff but they excel in all of the above. Would you ever expect your room to have 2 wonderful cozy bathrobes, extra washcloths for make-up, nice bath gels, etc. Great breakfast....our cook of the morning was... more

lovely B&B -- house is newly built and was constructed with B&B in mind so has lots of privacy (most rooms have ensute full bath, balcony, good beds, etc), very close to town (easy drive after dinner) but nicely off the highway, good breakfast, accommodating to late arrivals and early departures. a perfect evening respite after a long day on... more

indeed, this is a very good b & b and maggie's breakfast is very good too, and so are the cookies she so generously provided.luckily, there were not too many guests, because that's always a problem with these wooden houses: too many people means lack of privacy. But of course, the owners can't help that and this is really a... more

We stayted in June and the place is lovely, well run and clean. It just seems to be a level above every where else we stayed. The rooms are well decorated and you can tell that much thought has gone into this. It really is like staying in some-ones lovely home and you are treated so well. This may not... more

We stayed at A Mooseberry Inn for one night on our way through Alaska in June 2009. Maggie is a great host. She greeted us very warmly and offered us freshly baked brownies. We caught up with our laundry using Maggie's washer and dryer for a small fee. This was a much better option than using one of the local... more

We saw the ad in Bear Foot magazine and after an exhausting day of driving, called to see if they had a room available and luckily they did. We had gone through a town that did not have even the slightest glimmer of a decent room and we drove an additional 1 1/2 hrs to get to Tok just to... more

The property was in tip top shape, in a beautiful wooded setting. The hosts (Mr. and Mrs. Brooks) went out of their way to make this a memorable experience. Although we were on a business trip (and worked hard), staying at Mooseberry was a nice "reward". Highly recommended! more
