Went for a week mid November 2008. For most of the week week, we were the only British tourists, hotel mainly catering for Russian and Italian guests. We recently stayed at the Holiday Beach Resort, Marsa Alam on an "All Inclusive basis" but unfortunately this turned out to be one of our most disappointing vacations ever! we were originally at the ABU NAWAS hotel, it was HORRENDOUS ......We were moved to HOLIDAY BEACH RESORT it was FANTASTIC. one of the best hotels and holidays we have ever had in egypt and we have been eight times including five star hotels. Yes you have to pay for bottled water and coffee in the lobby bar but the... more

just back from holiday beach resort.fantastic,6 of us went including two kids,we was upgraded to a suite overlooking the sea.it was really hot,quiet and plenty of room round the pool.but there is nowhere to go outside the hotel.the food only caters for french,german,italian,russian.we starved.also very expensive even though its all inclusive they charge you a euro to fill the babys... more
