Me and my daughter spent our Christmas time at Intercontinental The Palace Port Ghalib. It is a real Paradise; everything there is perfect, starting from the very comfortable and big room with a fantastic garden and sea view. We went to Port Ghalib to relax and we had the most relaxing vacation of our life! All the staff is really... More

We are staying in this hotel for The second time, we love it! The negative Side is that there is no free WiFi, only in lookout bar, read in reviews that returning To this hotel offers an upgrade, we haven't noticed it yet! Some people talk About getting a room with seaview and having free WiFi, Guess they don't offer... More

This hotel is amazing, the service is just above and beyond. The grounds are great and we even got to choose a new room when the room that we where given was noisy. Great food, great snorkeling, great activities and beyond all amazing staff!

"The Palace" is well-named, because walking around it feels like you're in a medieval castle. The staff is very friendly and try to be helpful, although while I was there, the management converted over from Intercontinental to another brand, which caused some hiccups that the staff weren't able to resolve. One of the differences between this hotel and the other... More

This was my second trip to this hotel in 2014. Immediately on arrival the staff were so happy to see me back. It was the warmest welcome I have ever experienced at a hotel! It is things like this that can really set you on the right track for a fantastic holiday. Over the next few days other staff recognized... More

Personell was very friendly and helpful. We liked the possibility to walk to Port Ghalib with some shops. Rooms were nice and very clean. Food was very good - probably a little improvable. Had a great time at the New Years-Party. :-))) Different day-trips are possible and well organized. Great swimming-possibility both in deep as well as in shallow water.... More

Great rooms facing the beach or the pool. Lovely food, especially the barbeque.. the restaurants close by 2:30 pm but there is always room service. The staff is very friendly. The airport shuttle and concierge are excellent. The water activities arranged by the hotel are just marvelous. Outside the hotel vicinity, there is a another area of restaurants and shopping... This impressive resort built in the style of a palace, we felt immediately at ease. Entrance to the hotel is a replica drawbridge over a small moat. The circular lobby is decorated with class, for short distances bar and the main restaurant, reasonably large pool area, the resort features luxurious guest rooms with a kettle, hair dryer, air conditioning, TV... The all inclusive concept is fine; breakfast, lunch and diner with drinks and the beachbar is also open for drinks. Room is clean, food is good (prepared by clean water) and the staff is very very very friendly. Snorkeling is recommended even if you don't like swimming like I do..... The sea is blue and the coral and fishes are... More

First of all, all reviews I write are about value for money. Not about genereal standard. I cannot really understand all the positive reviews of The Intercontinental. Ok, the architechture is beautiful. The hotel, pool area - everything is spotless. Some (but not all!) members of the staff are professional. But does this hotel match up to a price that... More
