What a great 48 hours, we booked in on December 31st and left on January 2nd. How could the serve dinner to 40+ people simultaneously on News Year Eve and maintain quality - by serving a wonderful tasting menu. After this meal we repaired to the cellar bar where hysterical "Welsh Girl Sings" Emilly Davies (http://welshgirlsings.co.uk/) entertained us. The service... More

On arrival we were greeted by the father of one of the owners, who was very friendly. We waited in the shabby lounge while he answered another query, then he showed us to our room. It was quite large, with a large bathroom. The duvet on the bed had seen better days - it was clumpy with thick and thin,... More

We have just returned from a most wonderful stay at this little gem. The food was divine and I loved the attention to sense of place detail - mini Welsh cakes, Melin Tregwynt bed throws and Myddfai toiletries . We will definitely be back and will recommend to friends.

We recently had our wedding reception at Llys Meddyg and have been completely overwhelmed by the incredible service and attention to detail every member of staff provided for us, our family and guests. After an 11am Winter wedding we were greeted by hot mulled cider and canapes in the main house before moving into the beautifully decorated garden room for... More

Stayed here in October half term 2014 with our 3 children, 2 dogs, 1 x sister/auntie & 2 x grandparents. We had the rooms at the back of the hotel which were perfect for us all plus one in the main house. All rooms were to a high standard & suitable for individuals needs. The owners very accommodating and relaxed.... More

With friends we had two nights here very recently and will go back whenever the opportunity arises. We stayed in rooms in the separate building at the back, No.s 7&8 both of which were well furnished, quiet and very comfortable. A well stocked mini bar was a plus but as ever, on the pricey side. Breakfast and dinner were both... More

Lovely little hotel, super friendly owners who went out of their way to drive us to the coast for the most incredible walk. Minutes walk to the beautiful Harbour - lovely breakfast, lovely dining rooms, lovely bedroom, very good value for money.

Have stayed many times and just gets better and better. Welcome so warm, rooms and lounge very comforting, and food outstanding. The charm of the cellar before dinner is enchanting, and we love to eat in the small restaurant with the log burning stove.
