We stayed at the Kia Ora at the end of March with our two daughters in a beach suite. This was our third trip to the South Pacific having stayed at the Four Seasons Bora Bora and Le Tahaa. I believe Rangiroa is worth the trip. Unless you dive, I believe 3 nights is plenty and 2 would be adequate.... More

Such a fun hotel. There are two shops onsite. A small fitness room. A super expensive spa treatment area which we subsequently didn't visit. Shame as we love a massage and a facial. Would of had one every day if the prices were reasonable. One large restaurant with an overwater bar at the end of a pontoon with glass flooring.... More

Stayed at this hotel for six nights in a beach bungalow. Loved the spa tub. We were able to use it even when it rained, as most of it is under the overhang of the bungalow. The bungalow has AC and sliding doors can be closed to keep the bedroom cooler and for privacy. It was very easy to use... More

We stayed 5 nights total at the Kia Ora. Once again it was a great time. The grounds and bungalows are beautiful. We stay in the beach bungalows and they have a fantastic view of the lagoon. The bungalows are spacious and clean. The included breakfast is very good, with fruit, breads, meat and cheese plates, yogurt, pancakes and more.... More

Very nice and modern rooms with great service. There's nothing like looking through the big plexiglass opening in the floor at the fish, or hanging out on the spacious back decks with lounges, a table and chairs, and a shower. Perfect! Don't forget the 220/110v converter though. They did have 220 hair dryers, but everything else needed the converter, and... More

Set into a lagoon flecked with blues, turquoise, emeralds and green, the hotel stands out like a jewel, creating a striking vision of beauty all day long. I don't think any other hotels in the tuamotu creates this " love at the first sight ". Personally, I'm fond of their virgin cocktails at the sunset, to admire this palette that... More

We stayed here for 3 nights during our Honeymoon. Rangiroa is a small island, so the drive from the Airport to the resort was very short. Once at the open reception, we were welcomed with cold drink and towel while we filled out the check-in details. The view is nice - still looks amazing in photos, but the beach, water... More

We went to Rangiroa for the diving and for a more remote FP experience. This resort had very friendly people, a Top Dive located right on the resort, a nice room with spectacular views of all that gorgeous blue water, and good food (breakfast was ok, but each dinner was really well done). We stayed in one of the beach... More

Small hotel right by the beach and pine trees in the strip of land hat is Rangiroa. Just getting to the reception gives you a great impression. We had booked a beach front fare and they messed up with the reservation. In these situations a good hotel gives you an upgrade and so they did. It was not beach front... More

Bright blue skies, multi-shades of blue waters, and a definitely blue dining experience. We were met in Rangiora by the hotel staff and were soon on our way to the Kia Ora Hotel. Surprise number one — we were upgraded to a deluxe, over the water bungalow. That was a great surprise. Next, we had WiFi internet service that worked... More
