The Kia Ora is a fantastic hotel. The staff and hotel are smaller then the hotels on Bora Bora but the staff displays a genuine pride in their hotel on this relatively remote island. We were impressed!. The over-water bungalow in which we stayed was neat and clean and in good physical condition. The Bungalow interior was more modern than... More

Just got back from vacation with my husband and our two daughters. After luxurious hotels in Bora Bora and Moorea (Intercontinental) this hotel seems more simple but still has all great amenities. A bit disappointed by the beach in front of our bungalows, not too much sand, a bit narrow but the swimming and snorkeling there was really great, lots... More

beautiful setting and nice rooms. Great bed and huge bathroom. Could have better maintenance, holes in the roof of our beach bungalow (facing the ocean) allowed mosquitos in and the a/c doesn't work so well. Also, note that the location is not great if you want to go most places for dinner as the taxi fees are very expensive (we... More

The beachfront bungalows are gorgeous. they contain a bedroom a living room a large bathroom with two sinks, a deck only feet away from the beautiful lagoon and a jacuzzi. The grounds of the resort are also very nice. The food in the restaurant is excellent but very expensive. The service at the restaurant varied from average to incredibly inattentive.... More

We stayed at the Kia Ora for 3 nights, after 4 stops in Polinesia. Intercontinenal Moorea, Bora Bora and Le Tahaa were the places we stay. So, Kia Ora is a wonderfull hotel. The beach in front of the hotel is really nice and beautiful. We may not have luck, and got an old room (cause many of them were... More

My wife and I spent three days here celebrating our 35th aniversary. We then spent two days at the Sauvage. We had the meal plan as there are few options for eating elsewhere. However, there are some markets on the islands that give an option for purchasing wine or beer. The meal plan does not include any drinks, including bottled... More

The Hotel Kia Ora is a perfect jewel on a tiny island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. You truly feel like you've left the world behind, and we were joking could survive a zombie apocalypse. The hotel's private villa with pool was wonderfully contemporary, comfortable and had great décor. The staff was friendly and helpful. We used the... More

We stayed at Kia Ora Resort 12 divers group, and enjoyed this very much. Stuff, service, rooms, beach, personal JACUZZI,food, pearl shop , DIVING, were awesome. What management can improve? They can improve quality of coctails at the bar. Diving at Rangiroa with TOP Divers was super.

Our stay in Rangiroa was absolutely perfect. The island is beautiful beyond what words can describe! I would totally recommend going to anyone travelling to French Polynesia. The Kia Ora Resort and Spa was excellent. The location fantastic, the beach bungalow had plenty of indoor and outdoor space (we stayed in room #1), amazing views and was beautifully decorated in... We stayed at the Kia Ora Resort for the first six nights of our honeymoon and chose to stay here because of the diving in Rangiroa. We split our stay between three nights in a beach bungalow and three nights in an overwater bungalow - both offered on a 3-for-2 basis by our UK travel agent, which made the prices... More
