Do not expect a 5 star hotel, but expect a 5 star nature experience. We were blown away by the staffs love and respect for the island and it´s nature. Eric is a local legend and creates a special atmosphere on every detail. The food is extra fresh and very tasty, and a total surprise. Eric owned an floating restaurant... More

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon in April 2014, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the choice! It was a rustic piece of paradise, but the best advice that I can give to anyone looking to book here is to read the FAQs on the pension's website. Know what you're getting yourself into! We stayed... More

Stayed 8 nights Feb/Mar 2014. Had a bit of rain for a few days but still had a great time. Eric, Lea and Heiarii were great hosts and lots of fun! Due to the storm Eric insisted that we move from the lagoon side to the ocean side. It was nice to be able to stay half our trip on... More

I cannot say if Raimiti is a good place because actually I have not been able to get there (this is why I reated it average), but I have got some learning on how to deal with them. We were supposed to stay in Raimiti from July 19th to July 22nd as part of our honeymoon trip in French Polynesia.... More

Awesome, awesome, awesome. Words cannot describe the experiences we had at Raimiti over New Year's. Eric and his staff were exceptional hosts. This little pocket of heaven was one of the most beautiful, blissful, and romantic places on the planet. The diving was epic, the sunsets stunning, and Raimiti simply divine. This is a place that should be on every... More

After 6 trips to French Polynesia in 5 years and having stayed in everything from $1,000/night bungalows in Bora (Both at the Thalasso and the Four Seasons), to multi-week cruises on the Paul Gauguin, and even Marlon Brando's personal bungalow, Raimiti has become the single best vacation we have ever experienced. We have already rebooked to spend TWO whole weeks... More

Booked this for three nights, and even though I am not a diver, I found it total bliss. Expect great food and junior was the host and very receptive. If you are not a diver or come with others who are, just expect calm and quiet. Excursions can be taken if you wish - one to the little town near... More

Isolation does not define romance we arrived to huge wind gusts and were immediately asked " what do you want to do " No introduction ,just "do you want to go to RImiti or stay in town" Hadn't spent a fortune nor a day travelling to stay in a B&B with little else to do After all, Raomiti was special... Raimiti, a small piece of Paradise, right under the “Southern Cross”. For years I heard about this place, a place lost somewhere in the South Pacific, a place maybe Jack London would write about, or Melville stopped by on his way to Tahiti after he jumped ship in the Marquesas. Surely Paul Theroux would have stopped by on his “Falt... More

We have been visiting Raimiti two years before and liked the place and the way the pension was managed very much. The food was excellent, the place nicely kept, everybody was very friendly and helpful. So we decided to come back. Seeing the place now, only two years later, was a real disappointment. The place looked neglected and run down.... More
