my husband and i spent 6 nights at the Thalasso (june 4-june10) after one night in Tahiti (at the intercontinental--our room was AWFUL there) and before going to Le Taha'a for 3 nights (not that impressed with this hotel--i'll write a review for this hotel also).. the thalasso was fabulous! although there weren't many fish (as reported many times before)... We stayed the IC Bora Bora for our honeymoon and it was truely everything we could have imagined. We had previously joined the ambassador club through the IC and so were upgraded 1 level for our bungalow. We had the best view! Our bungalow was huge and decorated beautifully. We loved our two-level deck. The lower level was perfect for... More

We stayed at the Intercontinental Thalasso Spa for our honeymoon for 6 nights in June. Once we landed in Bora Bora airport, we immediately got our luggage which was loaded onto a boat which took us to the hotel. The scenary was so beautiful and perfect that it was almost fake. I have travelled all over the Carribean and nothing... More

Probably the best place for an overwater bungalo. The rooms were absolutely the best of the 4 places (Bora Bora, Moorea, Rangiroa and Papeete) we visited. We stayed in suite 134. Great views from the bedroom, living room and bathroom. First rate fixtures, design, bathrooms, etc. The spa was fine but the best massage I had has was at the... More

My wife and I went to Bora Bora from May 20 to May 26, 2007. The Thalasso Spa is a wonderful hotel. Upon arriving via boat, we were taken to the front desk by golf cart. We had to fill out some check in forms. After finishing, we were told that our room was not ready and it would take... More

Bora Bora does not have the charm and culture of Moorea but it is absolutely stunning and this resort made it worth while. Most of the people working in the resort are French, but speak English. The shuttle from the airport was great and so was check in. The room is incredible; we had a sapphire room and had a... More

The InterContinental Thalasso Spa and Resort – Bora Bora: Arrival was interesting and involved a boat ride of about twenty minutes. When we got off the airplane we were greeted by a lady in long red pareau with flowers in her hair. She helped identify our luggage and a porter/boat operator subsequently loaded it on the hotels boat which waited... More

My boyfriend and I spent four of the best days of our lives at this resort in Bora Bora, and I simply do not understand how anyone could complain or post negative comments about the Intercontinental Thalasso. This was by far our favorite of the three islands we visited during our 10-day vacation to French Polynesia (Moorea, Bora Bora, and... More

We stayed at this resort before its grand opening for our honeymoon in august so we got a great deal (breakfasts and dinners included). Overall, we had a great time and would definitely go back to this resort. I'd like to start off by saying that people in general just like to complain about every little thing and we are... More

My wife and I honeymooned at the Thalasso as part of our excursion to French Polynesia, and if we could, we'd stay here longer! Let me start out by saying that Bora Bora is the most beautiful of the three islands we stayed at (Tahiti, Moorea, and Bora Bora). So much to do and see, and at this resort you... More
