We stayed here as part of our Moorea/BB trip earlier this month. I couldn't make up my mind between Moana or Thalasso, so I figured, why not have both? I'm so glad I made that decision, because I feel I got the best of both worlds. The Thalasso is an incredible resort with fabulous scenery and amazing OWB's. The bungalows... More

My husband and I wanted a trip of a lifetime, and we got it! This hotel is amazing!! We're from NYC so all day long all it’s loud cars, dirty streets, and crowds. What we wanted from our honeymoon was peace, tranquility, and beauty…..we so got it here. We flew from NYC to Papeete Tahiti, and then took a small... More

We stayed in Bora Bora for 6 days/5 nights for our honeymoon. This is our last destination (we previously stayed in Tahiti and Moorea), and we definitely saved the best for last! We booked our travel with Costco Travel and I'm very happy with the pricing and everything went very smoothly. The package includes breakfast AND dinner at the Thalasso,... More

We visited bora bora for our honeymoon and stayed at the resort for 5nights. The service was fantastic. I am a vegetarian and on request, special veg meals were made available for me. The concierge helped us arrange for the various excursions and trips. Our room was fantastic... the view was just amazing. we stayed at the over water bungalow... More

A really excellent hotel. Rooms were 5 star, new and very well appointed. I am very particular so had already made sure that we had the room we wanted, grade, pontoon, direction it faced etc.. The food in the hotel was great, expensive as is everything but not that much more than restaurants on the island so the usual disparancy... More

We chose the Intercontinental Thalasso after many months of research into the different islands and resorts of Bora Bora. TripAdvisor comments about this hotel and photos were very helpful. One key feature we found unique to the IC balconies is that they have covered patios in addition to the uncovered diving platform. This helps in the blazing heat and hot... More

My wife and I just returned from this amazing resort, hands down the best place we have ever stayed in. Although it "appeared" to be full, but you would never know it for the place is big with a little number of rooms that offer a nice relaxing and private vacation in the French Poly Islands. The rooms were perfect... More

My husband and I traveled to this resort for our honeymoon in August of 2008. We stayed at the Intercontinental Moorea for 4 nights, and then spent 6 nights at the Thalasso. PROS: The food on the resort was great. The staff was very helpful and we had no problems communicating with them in English. We stayed in the overwater... More

We visited the Intercontinental Thalasso for 7 days at the beginning of May and words cannot express how magical and beautiful Bora Bora and this particular resort is. This is one of those rare places you visit, where pictures do not do the place justice- it is much more beautiful in person! (Usually I find it is the other way... More

The Intercontinental was the ultimate in fantasy getaway. My wife and I were there the first half of our honeymoon, we stayed at the Four Seasons the second half, it by far exceeded any of our expectations. The guest service was exceptional and we never felt as though we were being treated as guests, but rather old friends. Since the... More
