This is a wonderful hotel, with terrific service. The setting is gorgeous. Perfect for a honeymoon. The spa was beautiful and the hot stone massage truly relaxing. We did not want to leave this resort. The hotel is expensive, but worth every penny. I would highly recommend the shark/ray feeding tour as well. The only negative was that families from... more

This place is amazing--you will not be disappointed. Pricey, yes, but worth it!! The hotel is located on a private motu (small island). There is a shuttle boat that takes you to the main island all day and night--you can pick up a schedule at the concierge desk and it is always on time and very efficient. We didn't mind... more

Hotel is probably the best location in all of Bora Bora...on a private motu (small island) with beautiful lagoons and great amenities. Booked with Pacific For Less Travel (great service!) which got us the Breakfast buffet included...really a must since the food in French Polynesia is expensive more

Location: My husband and I recently spent 7 nights at the IC Thalasso for our honeymoon. The location of the hotel is amazing... on the motu overlooking Mt. Otemanu. If you are considering this hotel, make sure to ask for a Diamond Otemanu bungalow so that your bungalow faces the mountain and not other bungalows. The staff originally put us... more

There is just too much to list about how amazing this place is. We went close to the opening month but it was still the best experience I have ever had. The overwater bungalow was unbelieveable as far as layout, design, decor, etc. The water off the bungalows was the most unique turquoise/blue I have ever seen. I can't imagine... more

My husband and I just celebrated our ten year anniversary at the IC Thalasso for 6 days/5 nights, from May 21st through May 26th. The effort required to travel to this remote corner of the world is tough, but once we got here, it was unreal. We sat on the left hand side of the Air Tahiti flight, as we’d... more

My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at IC Thalasso and we had a wonderful time. We booked a Saphire over water bungalow (OWB) but signed up for Ambassador Club at reception and got upgraded to a Diamond room. This also got us a late checkout, free pay-for-view movie and fruit basket - worth the $150. We were in... more

We stayed at the Thalasso for the 2nd part of our 8 night BB holiday (we were at the Nui for the 1st 4 nights). Now let me just say that it is a good thing that people are different and we all like different things. I have read all the rave reviews on this hotel, and it is a... more

This was the third hotel in our 10 night Feb 2009 honeymoon in FP (see other reviews for IC Tahiti, IC Moorea and Le Tahaa). We stayed at the IC Thalasso for 4 nights in an emerald OWB and it was amazing!! The lagoon is the most amazing shade of aquamarine i've ever seen. We had a view of the... more

When my wife and I arrived here for our honeymoon, we were given a tour by the manager while our luggage was brought to our over-water bungalow. The gentleman asked us if this was our first trip to French Polynesia, and we said yes but we had spent a few days at the InterContinental in Moorea before arriving on Bora... more
