We had a phenomenal time in Tahiti and brought tons of beautiful pictures. From the time we boarded Air Tahiti Nui at LAX and landed at Papeete Airport, everything including the seats assigned to us, the inter-island flights, shuttle boats, shuttle bus and vans to the hotel, was well organized. I found it was of great help that the local... more

We stayed here for eight nights celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary. It is difficult to fault this member of The Leading Small Hotels of the World. The staff are charming, smiley and attentive, the food is good and the wine list reasonable for the region. It enjoys a great location and the overwater bungalows are very well furnished and provided... more

Ideally right before we planned this trip, we wanted a place where we could go to relax - and relaxation was what it was. From the moment our boat docked, we were awed by the beautiful water and the colorful fishes all around. The Pearl has a coral nursery, so just going out there to snorkel and see the beautiful... more

We stayed at the Bora Bora Pearl Beach for 4 nights on the second leg of our honeymoon. This hotel is truly amazing, the grounds are beautiful and the view from our POWB was amazing. The staffs were all so friendly and helpful. Our room was just amazing, the glass coffee table was great. Every morning we brought bread back... more

We stayed a week at the Pearl Beach hotel in a premium overwater bungalow. In a nutshell it is a HONEYMOON DESTINATION. People, PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE, DO NOT BRING SMALL KIDS. Bringing a crying baby to places like this is a CRIME, similar to smoking in public places. Setup: If you go to Bora Bora, you have to stay on... more

We toured a number of islands for our honeymoon and stayed five nights at the bora bora beach resort in an overwater bungalow. The surroundings and view were perfect and we relaxed, swam, and snorkled. There is little nightlife which suited us. Meals and drinks at the hotel are very expensive which we expected and budgeted for. The only downside... more

We chose the Pearl for our honeymoon after reading tons of reviews and rankings (it was the #1 romantic hotel in one of my bridal magazines, and that sealed the deal). We had a premium overwater bungalow, which was fabulous. Maid service could be slow--sometimes it took until dinnertime to get the room cleaned--but otherwise the space and view was... more

Stayed here for 6 days and nights as part of our honeymoon in the overwater bungalows. Positives: Rooms were amazing; we got a free upgrade to a premium overwater bungalow after 3 nights; snorkelling and swimming possible from the bungalows - tons of beautiful coloured fish + saw some sharks at night; romantic hotel; lovely reception area + restaurants. Negatives:... more

We spent 4 nights and 5 days of our April 2008 honeymoon at the Pearl Beach in Bora Bora. We booked our Moorea/Bora Bora honeymoon with Pacific for Less who handled our complete itinerary. We spent our first 4 nights in Tahiti/Moorea and then were whisked away for the one hour flight to Bora Bora. We landed at the island’s... more

My wife and I stayed here in early April for 5 days/4 nights. We had booked an OWB. They upgraded us to a Premium OWB, without asking!! The room was unbelievable. The water was UNREAL. Light blue, clear and WARM (approx 86 degrees F). The hotel was nice. The bar was my favorite. Quite cool and relaxing. The restaurant was... more
