Bora Bora is the best spot for a couple to relax and enjoy eachother. The Nui is beautiful and has bungalos facing the ocean or mountain. Go for the ocean facing, the sound of the water crashing on the reef is music you can't hear anywhere else. more
Yep, we said it! The Bora Bora Nui is a fantastic location in an unbelievably gorgeous part of our planet. But, we found this resort lacking for several reasons: the food, the service, and of course, the price. We booked the Nui after a lot of searching for the "perfect" French Polynesian experience within our budget. The Nui's grounds are... more
What a beautiful hotel. If the Garden of Eden existed, I bet it was a lot like the Bora Bora Nui. Beautiful beaches, sunsets, over-water bungalows, and vegetation. The food was also very good. Our family (all adults) took an off shore excursion with some locals to swim with sharks and sting rays. I highly recommend the trip as it... more
Truly Fantasy Island. Just amazing place. Blows Hawaii out of the water. Coconuts sprouting palm trees on the beach naturally! Great hotel...probably best views in all of Bora Bora. Very expensive food. $28's for a hamburger and that was the cheapest thing on the menu. Got tired of eating them after 8 days. Roast Chicken was $50. Plus, the menu... more
Read many reviews on most hotels in Bora Bora and Hilton seemed "relatively" reasonable for the price compared to some of the more expensive resorts on the island. However overall big disappointment ! Saw many couple here for their honey moon and while this is a fantastic location, it does not make up for the extremely poor service .Overall not... more
We stayed at the hotel for our honeymoon in September 2009, and we can honestly say it was a remarkable experience. The staff is professional and friendly, the rooms are exceptional, and the location is beautiful. There was absolutely nothing lacking, and the Hilton does not receive the praise it deserves in other reviews I have read in the site.... more
My wife and I just spent four wonderful nights (Sept. 8-12) at the Hilton Bora Bora. As reflected in this review title, though, I came away ambivalent about the place. The bottom line is: 1) you can have a truly memorable stay there (as we did), but there is construction going on at both ends of the resort that makes... more
This was a 10th Anniversary Trip for my husband and myself for 6 nights at this hotel. First let me say that this is one of the most well appointed, beautiful properties we have been to. The bungalows are exceptional in terms of size and ammenities. Also, many of the staff are very nice but seem to not have proper... more
We spent our honeymoon at the Bora Bora Nui and also Le Tahaa. After being disappointed with Tahaa, the Nui was a welcome change. The Nui had EXCELLENT staff and service. There were very few people there. The bungalow was much bigger than expected and the water was much deeper. At Tahaa it was like 3 feet deep; here it... more
