Before pre-judging this review as being off the target since there are so many "Wonderful" reviews, take into consideration that it is only rated 8th out of 18 in Bora Bora; just barely better than 1/2 of the hotels (not 5 star hotels, but ALL hotels). One of the hotels beating out this Hilton was the "Sunset Hill Lodge". Another... More

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa for our Honeymoon from March 17 - 23 of 2014. We considered going to St. Lucia, Antigua and Bora Bora. We are so glad we chose Hilton Bora Bora for our honeymoon. Here are a few of the highlights of our trip: Room: This was definitely... More

Excellent hotel, but absolutely destroyed by the service received at the pool bar. No food/ beverage service offered to the pool area so literally 1-2 hours a day was spent waiting for a simple bottle of water to snacks and/or drinks.

We stayed here in March 2012. It was superb. We stayed 3 nights in a hillside villa & 3 nights overwater both had their benefits. The grounds & rooms were immaculate, nothing to be faulted. I had the most wonderful massage I've had in my life. We had buffet breakfasts each morning that were superb. The restaurant meals were expensive... More

This resort had excellent grounds. It is on very nice part of the lagoon with huge black rocks to the south. The water depth around the resort is mostly at the 2 to 5 meter mark so the water has that deep neon blue colour. We only stayed 1 night in a bungalow, it was set back from the beach... More

This was a great way to finish our vacation! We spent 5 nights at the Hilton Resort in Moorea and then 5 nights at the Hilton Bora Bora Nui and had a great experience at both places. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We did feel like the Hilton Bora Bora was a little more rustic and needing some... More

We started our trip in Moorea Hilton and were very delighted with the beautiful water bunglows.Much nicer than Moorea . That is where it ends. Breakfast buffet was mostly for Japanese guests. Did not care for the cereal bar. The dining rooms are full of cats roaming around and jumping over the tables. NOT GOOD .

We stayed at this hotel for 8 days and had a marvelous experience. The entire staff was very friendly and polite with no exception. The over water bungalows are superb and with great views. We ate at all three (3) restaurants, the menu selection was great and the quality of food was excellent. We have traveled to many locations around... More

This is like a dream come true. On March 2012, my wife and I spent our honeymoon in this paradise. We highle recommend this amazing place for honeymooners. As a tip, we did our trip as follows: First we were at Pappete, Tahiti. Then we sepent some days at Moorea. And finally we finish in Bora Bora.

Beautiful location with stunning "over water bungalows". Hotel looks a bit old & "rustic" (in need of a renovation ??) with some service issues. Otherwise a great, albeit expensive (it is Tahiti), place to stay.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Bora Bora… it’s possibly the most glamorously famous island in the world. Bora Bora’s legends, mysteries and romance lend an almost mystical dimension to its very name. The island rises up from the middle of the crystalline, multi-colored waters of its celebrated lagoon which is protected in turn from the ocean by a string of tiny coral islets.Suspended between turquoise waters and limitless skies, the Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa nestles in a sacred cove of white sand and majestic lava rock. Here you will find a sensitive blend of authenticity and luxury - the very best of Polynesian tradition combined with sumptuous comfort. ... more   less
