Seriously, my wife and I just got back from the Private Motu and it is absolutely beautiful. Amazing water, amazing snorkeling, amazing privacy, just wonderful. We stayed in OWB 112 -- a "horizon" over the water bungalow and we thought it was beautiful. Right at the end of the right "wing" of bungalows, it was very private, had a wonderful... more

I did alot of research in choosing my hotel in Bora Bora and I was completely happy in choosing this one. First of all, it has the best view of all of the resorts. Even the St. Regis looks out onto just the water. This hotel has views of both the mountains of Bora Bora and the beautiful lagoon (Oh... more

We want to go back already! We went there for our honeymoon for 7 days. We stayed on the private island in an overwater bungalow with a lagoon view in room 129 which was one of the last rooms with much privacy. It was absolutely beautiful. If you want privacy the Sofitel Motu Private Island is the way to go!... more

We styed there on a OWB right at the end of the deck N° 115. You really feel like you are alone in the world, you can go the all day not seeing anyone, it feels so relax so intimate. You can just jump from the deck and go swimming, or take a kayak or pirogue to go round the... more

We stayed at Sofitel Moorea and Bora Bora after researching for the best snorkeling. I was not disappointed! Sofitel Bora Bora didn't have all the extra service that Moorea did...like giving you flowers in the ear all the time...but it had great ocean life! You could watch baby sharks come in the evening...rays...lots of tiny baby sharks...octopus...right from the dock!... more

What can I say? I had the chance to stay at the Sofitel Motu Bora Bora during Christmas of 2006. It was a dream. There is nothing at all that I can think of to not give my highest recommendations about. We stayed in an overwater bungalow and it was just heaven. The staff was exceptionally friendly (we found that... more

My husband and I spent the last 3 nights of our honeymoon in an over-the-water bungalow here after staying at the Moorea Sofitel in a regular bungalow. This resort is on it's own island so you have to take a private boat there (free to hotel guests) which I thought was nice and secluded. Every morning, we had a spectacular... more

Excuse me for just putting the review out there....my wife and I honeymooned here last April. That being said....The Sofitel Motu was truly amazing. We had originally booked at the Sofitel Beach Resort, however when we showed up at the airport we were informed that we had been upgraded to the Sofitel Motu....At first i was a little concerned, even... more

Ia Orana! If you want the short version of my review, then all I have to say is: "I want to go back!" Now if you're interested, here's the longer version... We just returned from a six night stay at the Sofitel Motu. This was our 6th visit to French Polynesia since 1993. In 1998, on our 3rd visit to... more

wow, this place was incredible. im so glad i got to experience staying in an overwater bungalow. it wasn't our honeymoon, so that was a shame. the view was spectacular, the water was calm and only waist deep and an unforgettable turquiose color. the motu is very private, but also too sleepy for me. after dinner it was time to... more
