If you're in the Talkeetna area, stay here. It's close to town, yet gives you that wilderness feel if you stay in a cabin. The owners are wonderful people, the rooms are outstandingly clean. We visited in the winter- and enjoyed a bonfire on the river, including Smores!

Very nice cabin with all the creature comforts. Easy access to the snow machine trails, we spent 4 days at the lodge for some superb spring weather. Really liked the bonfire all ready to go, just too tired to go out to enjoy...beautiful scenery with peace and quiet.

Lovely place in tiny talkeetna with good sized rooms and nice bit of everything. We walked around on the snowmobile trail and had great weather. Outside of town, but a lovely spot on the river. The owners were friendly and helpful and had obviously put a lot of work into the lodge. Design and decorations were done to perfection! You are on the river, though, so beware the dreaded mosquito!
