After two weeks of traveling and staying in cabins all over Alaska, I can honestly say this was the best of them all. The Staff was very friendly, extremely helpful and the cabins were very clean, well set up and in great condition. The view from the cabins are outstanding and it makes cooking steaks on the provided bbq grill... More

We stopped for 1 night between Denali an anchorage. We stayed in unit 1 in the main lodge. Clean apartment that had access to a great deck. Peaceful location on the river. Owners are personable and very hospitable. Easy walk from the railroad and less than a mile walk to town. Loved exploring Main Street and the flight with K2.... More

This is a very well run, well located rustic lodge. Others have described it well. I would just add that the cabins are especially well suited to family with two kids. King bed and bathroom is downstairs open to LR with twin beds in upstairs loft. Small kitchen area, table and chairs. But this is not suited to two couples... More

We were more than pleased with our room, the service, the friendly atmosphere, the location. Darlene was most helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer - and we may next time. We would highly recommend it.

We had been in Alaska for 17 days when we got to these cabins. Great experiences everywhere and as this was our last stop, I hoped for more of the same. We got there early in the day (to ride the Hurricane train). We stopped by to check in since it would be late when the train got back. The... More

We spent one night here on a trip between Anchorage and Denali. We had an apartment in the main building. The cabins are in a lovely spot by the river, very peaceful. We had a lovely view over the river from our room. Darlene was very helpful, picking us up from the railroad depot and returning us there the next... More

We enjoyed a spacious room with a beautiful river view. The Hostess was very accommodating and provided us with excellent area information. A light continental breakfast was available and was a nice way to begin our day. We visited on a particularly warm day, and the fans provided were adequate to cool the room. While you are here, don't miss... More

We traveled from Seward to Talkeetna and were completely delighted by the accommodations. They are right along the river with stunning views of Mt. McKinley. It was very peaceful and the perfect setting to relax and take in the scenery. I would highly recommend a stay here.

We travelled from Anchorage, Homer to Seward, to Talkeetna, Denali NP and e ndes our trip in Hatcher Pass at the Hatcher Pass B&B. We travelled with our 3 teenagers (14, 13, 13). Lodging was a bit of a challenge in terms of amenities and space in all the locations EXCEPT this place. It was perfect!! Liz (owner) was very... More

Sometimes a bargain is not worth the compromise. When you've already spent a great deal on a luxurious cruise & excursions do you really want to end your vacation on a low note? The cabins are cheaply decorated with no privacy between the upstairs loft & the downstairs bed. I'd say the rooms haven't ever been redecorated. Bathroom door is... More
