We were in Talkeetna for the Bachelor Auction Weekend. Great location - walking distance to activities, yet far enough away from all night partiers. We stayed in the Foraker. Very nice! Comfortable & roomy for the 3 of us. Easily could have had a few more.. Queen downstairs & 4 singles upstairs. Beds were very comfortable. Combines the rustic cabin... More

Have stayed in the cabins at Keats 4 tines over the years. Can easily sleep 4 one down , and 3 upstairs. Has wi-fi, cable, refrigerator etc. not a lot to do in Talkeetna, but a nice location to stay if you find yourself there . It's a cabin, but a very nice one with amenities

Our fly-in for Denali expedition got delayed due to bad weather so we booked a couple cabins since they were adjacent to AMS, our guide service HQ. I had my own stand alone cabin, with two beds, a kitchenette, and bathroom. It was the same price as Denali Fireside Cabin but it fell WAY short: much smaller, more tired and... More

We stayed at Chinook Wind for three nights while we were exploring Denali National Park. We stayed in the Hunter cabin, one of the two-story cabins. The cabin was very nice! The kitchenette had a fridge, microwave, and hot plate, as well as pots, pans, and silverware. The beds were very clean and comfortable, and the cabin itself was nice... More

We had a large group and wanted to camp but our parents are elderly so we put them up in one of the cabins. When we checked them in and took a look at the cabin we were so jealous! it was so nice and clean. Very close to the campgrounds and town. It was perfect and our parents felt... More

Having decided to leave Denali a day early (to split up the drive back to Anchorage) we were very grateful that Chinook Wind could accommodate us for one night on short notice. The establishment is just a short walk from "downtown." Our cabin (named Denali) was closed up tightly and smelled strongly of bacon upon our afternoon arrival. I was... More

My family and I rented two cabins at Chinook Wind last night. We drove in from Anchorage. We had 4 kids and 4 adults in our group. The owners were so nice and gave us great advice on where to dine, hike and explore. Our favorite part was hanging out at the cabins. The kids played, we sat on the... More

The cabins were still clean and the staff was still friendly. We stayed here 3 years ago and not much has changed. That is good. Basic accomodations. Good location for exploring Talkeetna. Within walking distance of the airport. Close to the train station and the staff will arrange to pick you up and deliver you to the depot if you... More

We were able to book a cabin at the last minute during Labor Day weekend. The woman who helped us was very friendly and made sure we knew exactly where to find them. She also made sure we knew about entertainment in "town" - and we ended up having one of the funnest nights of our lives so far! We... More

Traveled to Alaska and stayed at the Chinook Winds Cabins. Nice facility, good clean rooms, comfortable beds. Located about 2 blocks from downtown. Drawback sufficient hot water but not a lot for a long shower.
