The cabin was so much larger than expeted, clean, and seemed brand new. The owner was so nice, greeting us when we arrived, pointing things out, and supplying us with juice, yogurt, muffin, bagel for breakfast and bottled water. Faced a lake, and the view was lovely from our porch. There were just two cabins, and the only potential disadvantage... More

Very clean, cozy and private cabin in the woods.....nice and quite. Everything is supplied: soap and shampoos in the bathroom....in the kitchen: coffee, toaster, microwave, plates, bowls, silverware plus a nice selection of breakfast items......A cozy bed with extra pillows. Everything was top notch! We will stay here again next time we are in the area.

This was our last stop of our Alaska adventure. It was a very nice way to end the trip despite the rainy weather. The bed was so comfortable with its flannel sheets. The owner is very friendly and she stocks the little fridge with bagels, muffins and OJ. If we ever find ourselves in this area we will definitely stay... More

We stayed 3 nights in this wonderful cabin, which is very roomy and comforable with a nice sized, double bedroom, soft flannel sheets and down comforter on the bed. A loft area provides additonal sleeping area. The bathroom is very spacious with everything you need, as well as the kitchenette/living area. Everything is very clean and inviting. There are two... Stayed here one night after the Swiss Alaska Inn had overbooked. The cabins are in a very peaceful setting overlooking the lake and are about 5 miles out of town There is a double bedroom and a loft bedroom ( due to the very steep ladder this would only be suitable for teenagers/ young adults). the lounge/kitchen area overlooks the... We only got to stay 1 night, but loved the cabin. If you're looking for quiet, private and a really nice cabin then this is it. There are only 2 rental cabins on the property so you wont have much company which is perfect. The owner's cabin is about 100 yards or so away and is hidden by trees. The... More

We stayed at the Alpaca Cabins for two nights at the end of July and loved it. We were in the first cabin and it was positively spotless in how clean and tidy it was. The breakfast eats (and tea and coffee) provided were terrific, the little kitchen is super convenient, the master bed was exceptionally cozy and comforatble (flannel... More

We absolutely loved this quiet, beautiful place! The cabins are nestled in the woods by a lake, are very private and surrounded by beautiful nature. The cabins are clean, modern, and have everything needed for a comfortable stay. The owner is friendly and caring. We would love to go back and spend more time at the Alpaca Cabin.

The last review was in 2008 but I can tell you that the cabin hasn't aged! The cabin is so well kept - clean, cosy and well equipped with heater, refrigerator, microwave and basic kitchen utensils. My family of 4 sleeps comfortably in it. We were initially worried about being cutoff from the external world without Internet or TV. But... More
