My room was so nice. It was large, clean, and there were wonderful views out the window. A great location. No, it is not fancy but it is a great place to stay! We also saw eagles and moose near the lodge.

Talkeetna Mountain Lodge is a nice place to stay. The staff was helpful and the accommodations were clean and well-maintained. The grounds are nicely kept and the views are incredible! It's not luxurious (the rooms are very basic) but it is very Alaskan! There are some neat walking trails around the property. Mount McKinley is often hidden from view by... More

This was a wonderful stop on our trip. The rooms were very nice & the grounds were very well kept. We ate at the hotels restaurant for dinner & breakfast. Both time the service & food were very good. I would recommend staying here when your in the area.

we loved our stay here, great location and transportation options to town. and we loved the area, quirky and fun. be sure to take a plane ride for either a glacier landing or just to see the mountains . it was the highlight of our time in Alaska.

This is a well-maintained Alaskan lodge from which we can see the Alaskan-mountain rages from the observation deck of the Lodge. When a weather permit, it is quite possible to observe the highest mountain in North America, i.e. Mt. McKinley. There are the main lodge building and four separate guest lodges. Four parking lot spaces are plenty. The lodge provides... More

This is by far the best hotel that we stayed in during our nine days on land in Alaska. It is very clean and has a beautiful lobby and fireplace. The view of Mt McKinley from their back patio area was outstanding. The restaurant had very good food. They also have a shuttle service into town. The bus to Anchorage... More

We had a one night stay and wish it could have been longer. We were greeted at the train station and the fellow who helped travelers with side trips gave us good advice on activities to do the next day. We found the hotel staff to be friendly and helpful for things to do for a day. Our room was... More

Outstanding by by any measure with fantastic views of Mt McKinley. One of the finest places we stayed in Alaska. Beautiful, comfortable rooms, excellent food and a great staff. Huge outdoor deck for viewing and dining, enormous 70 foot high fireplace in the main lodge, hiking trails and magnificent grounds. On Sunday evening each week they have a flag lowering ceremony... Stopped here for one night before visiting Denali National Park. The lodge is perfectly situated to get the best views of the Alaska Range over-all. Just a short 5-minute shuttle ride to Talkeetna with its restaurants and shops, we enjoyed the privacy this luxury hotel afforded. After a beautiful evening and restful night we were greeted by a young moose... More
