This is a B&B, not a hotel. We stayed in the lodge in a large upstairs corner room, it was clean and well appointed and also had a large window with a view. The managers of the property are very nice and friendly and helpful with local tips. The lodge is about a 20 minute drive from Talkeetna and about... More

We so enjoyed staying at this B & B. The managers Ron and Mabel provided wonderful service and hospitality and a wealth of helpful advice on the area. The great room was so cozy and relaxing after a day of activities. The breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. We enjoyed our stay here better than any other in Alaska.... More

Very clean and comfortable, amazing views, beautiful deck, enjoyable hot tub while looking out at Mt Denali (we got so lucky...it was clear), peaceful, accommodating and kind owners, excellent breakfast-fresh and healthy and yummy, even an espresso Keurig-bonus! 2 rooms for our family of 5 worked great. A few minutes from the center of town which actually helped accommodate our... More

We stayed for one night in a private cabin before starting a Denali climb. The cabin was very well appointed and comfortable with a queen bed and private bath and kitchenette. The large deck was perfect for organizing gear. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Although this place is not within walking distance of town, it's convenient if you have a... More

I didn't love this place but it was adequate for a 1 night stay. We had the John Wayne room, it was quite small but alright. I was very much looking forward to the breakfast that other reviewers raved about - maybe a different cook was on our morning because the meal was ordinary. It was a little way out... More

My wife and I just visited the Talkeetna Denali View lodge. We absolutely loved it. We booked the Denali Suite for four nights. The owners were running a special that included a flightseeing tour of the area with a stay of four nights, for just the additional cost of the gas for the plane of $138 total. It was quite... More

We had a great room - big, clean, comfortable, well appointed, nice view of Denali. Very comfortable stay. This place is several miles from Talkeetna and about a half mile of gravel road from the Talkeetna spur. We mistakenly thought we were staying close to town. But if woods is what you are going for, you'll be fine. If you... More

Felt more as if we were in a stranger's home than a B&B. Hot breakfast-quiche, portioned out by hostess. Harder to bring bigger suitcase up the stairs than other B&Bs we've stayed in. Talkneeta is about 15 minutes away-we very much enjoyed walking around the quaint town and going in the park service visitors center and learning about Mt Denali... More

The stay was first class from the moment we arrived. Views are breathtaking. Hosts make you feel at home. Just like you are family. Can't say enough about the breakfast and morning conversations around the table. You will be missing an Alaskan treasure if you do not stay here!! A slice of Heaven

For Alaskan travel, this is as good as it gets. Talkeetna is perfectly situated - roughly two hours north of Anchorage and two hours south of the Denali National Park entrance. On a clear day, you'll sent Mt. McKinley from the deck. So, if you want to be treated like family and you want to be in the PERFECT spot,... More
