I accidentally reviewed the wrong place but this is where we actually stayed. We stayed here two nights in May 2014. Loved this place! View was spectacular. Owner was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed the variety of choices for our breakfasts. Recommending this to friends when they go to AK next year.

Kate is an incredible host. The chalet was warm and inviting. We woke to a spectacular view and enjoyed a hot waffle breakfast in bed. The rooms are spotless and perfectly decorated. Thanks kate - Dave and Lise.

"Unexpected Luxury for your Alaskan Adventure!" is spot on. My wife and I spent our last night in Alaska in the chalet. It was perfect. Very clean. Plenty of room. Very private. Best of all, affordable. If your looking to make an impression, this will do the trick. Kate has put a lot of thought into making a relaxing and... More

What a nice treat for our last day in alska, well kept super clean house on secluded area, we love the view, the kicten, and idea that we can cook our own breakfast. Kate the host had everything we needed. We like to come back again. Thank you Kate.

Wonderful scenery, beautiful, clean place, and nice hostess, but the bed was bad, and the "breakfast" was a joke! The bed I slept in was terrible, and should be replaced. If you consider a half gallon of orange juice, a few undated, unlabeled, unboxed eggs, and a muffin which had been frozen for who knows how long, your idea of... More

We stayed for two nights at the Treetop Chalet and took the whole apartment for our family. We arrived early evening on a wet cloudy day, hoping to cook some food and sink into a warm bed. Unfortunately the power was out in the whole area, so we had to change plans with the help of Kate and go and... More

We stayed 2 nights in the garden apartment. Kate was a fantastic host! She set up a last minute Salmon fishing trip & even loaned my wife her long underware to stay warm! The apartment is perfect for a couple. Full kitchen with nice breakfast setup. Cozy queen bed. We stayed in 3 different B&B's over 10 days, this was... More

Really nice B&B, reasonably priced and Kate and Dallas are super nice people! We only stayed one night but I wished we had booked a second. If I were ever back in the area I would definitely book again.

We stayed in the Garden Apartment for 1 night on our way to Denali and were very pleased with it. Gorgeous views of Mt McKinley right out the window or from the sitting area outside. Breakfast was ample, the bed was great, the place was very clean. We would stay here again if we are in the area and highly... More

This place is done right, from the gorgeous views of Mt. McKinley, to the high-end mattresses and wonderful bathrooms, to the full kitchen (and even laundry if you want it). An assemble-it-yourself breakfast lets you get on to early activities if you want, and if you get to spend some time with Dallas and Kate, they’re super fun! Highly recommended,... More
