Loved the clean, quiet simplicity of the Talkeetna Motel. It was within walking distance of downtown and had a real Alaskan atmosphere. The lounge was also clean and quiet. I would stay there again anytime. more

We first stayed in Sept 1996. The restaurant had good food and the room was simple but comfortable. The water had a very strong sulfur smell/taste but was pretty good when we let it sit out overnight. We heard no noise from the bar.
